I personally think this has been the best year in sports for me. There were so many highlights in sooo many sports that it's been unbelievable. Among the highlights for me were:

- Bolt breaking world records at the Olympics [Athletics]
- 3 players winning Grand Slams in Tennis with Nadal v. Federer in Wimbledon being the highlight of it all [Tennis]
- Lee Chong Wei winning the silver medal at the Olympics [Badmiton]
- Brazilian GP final few laps - unbelievable drama [Formula1]
- Manchester United taking the Premier League and Champions League in style with Ronaldo's 42 goal campaign [Soccer]
- Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers reigniting their rivalry with Kobe Bryant being the MVP. CP3 emerging as a marque player and KG getting his ring [Basketball]

2008 is a sports year for Spain. You just search the internet and you will know why.

1. Tour De France 2008 (cycling) - Spanish rider win (sorry forget his name).
2. Euro 2008 - Spain national team win
3. Tennis Wimbledon - Nadal marathon win

1. Nicole David won 9/10 tournaments this year...left 1 more HK open later and she will be perfect 10

2. FedEx #1 reign finally over
3. Kedah won back to back local trophies
4. F1 Brazilian stop...exciting & heartbreaking last lap
5. Phelps 8 golds in Olympic
6. Bolt 3 World Records

*Lee silver in badminton doesn't surprise me*

- nicole david' 9 out of 10 in squah and 53 games unbeaten run to date
- micheal phelps 8 gold haul in olympic
- tiger woods us open title and constructive surgery that keep him out for the rest of the season

The Wimbledon final between Rafa and Federer is beyond imagination.

I don't think Chong Wei winning Silver Medal is anything. Haha.

Why is Lee Chong Wei's achievement under appreciated? Sure, he was whooped by the better man but it's Malaysia's first medal is so many years so I'd think it's something worth mentioning.

It was a shameful final for the badminton fans.
Like pro VS amateur. I wouldn't call that an achievement to be proud off.

Maybe you should just say LCW getting to the final of the Olympics. That's better. Maybe people will see the road LCW perform to the final but not the final itself.

Espana won the Euro. Others, meh

but in the end LCW still made us malaysian proud of him, at least he managed to get a silver medal instead of nothing back to malaysia.comon man, give him a break, just because he cant get a gold medal?
