Hey guys, I'm looking out for a budget/averagely priced compact camera, and these two caught my attention. The Canon Powershot Ixus 70 (or SD1000) and the Fujifilm F47fd.

I know F47fd is great indoors, in low lightning, and I also know the ixus 70 is great outdoors, richer in its coloring, but correct me if Im wrong yea? Amateur here haha. So what do you think? Ill most proabbly balance out indoor and outdoor shots, thus making my choice a little harder. Any advice from you guys would really help, esp from the pros out there!

Their price range is roughly around the same if im not mistaken? Not sure bout that though. Thanks for your input guys!

for me no doubt ixus 70. using it for 1.5 years now. natural n vibrant color, responsive in quick auto facus even in very dark place.

screen very bright n colourfull even under direct sunlight. screen very sharp...

no lag in shutter, fast read n write (even wit normal sd card.)
batery last long enuf. for about 300-400 shot....
recomend it...

interesting. i know its great outdoors, most canons are. But when u say its great in very dark places, thats while using flash? or without? there's been lots of good reviews on the canon. but the prob is its kinda an old model i suppose. Fuji's still in the picture because its newer, slightly cheaper, and has great low lighting shots
