Please to announce that the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2008 will be hell at Times Squre on 18-19 October 2008.
Can we do any gathering with all the lowyat forum photography member?
This might be a good time to talk each others and share your experience.

I hope the new replacement will launch on there day.
Although 5D is old but the my veteran friend(20 years experience) say the QI on Canon 5D is still the best compare to Nikon D700.
He just own new Nikon D700.............................Dunno true or not.

I think there are budget hotel in front of the timesquare... in the first/corner unit of a row of shops. I guess most likely cost less than RM100 a nite. Pay a visit to YL also if you are there... Since you are young, you can try to walk there... It might take you about 20 minutes time I think.... Or best, tumpang other photog car to there and back.

By the way, since you from Kuching, any place to take pictures? I am going there to visit my relative next month. Beside cats, anything else to shoot there?

Haha... gears matter not, my young padawan. Like the one who wields a lightsaber, tis not the lighsaber that matters but the skills of the one who wields it that matters most.

It is my dream to own a lightsaber... where in jungle, I will no longer afraid of tiger, snakes etc... Just turn it on and swing... All animals near you will die...

If really got such lightsaber... Do you think kongfu matter? You just need to swing with lightsaber... and anything touch it will be detroyed... How to fight?

I remember last time they'd talks in both English and Chinese. But you're not going there for the talks only, you want to see the cameras and the photo shoot.

as I said, i'm just sharing the info.

I'm not sure all in chinese media but sure is a "must attend" event since it's open FREE to ALL

nothing to lose but many to gain right..

Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) is a combination of photography and travel events. The Yearly Photography Festival organized by Photo Creator Publication (Advanced Images Magazine, Photo Creator Magazine & Travelmate Magazine), will be held at Lower Ground, Berjaya Times Square, on 18-19 October, 2008.


The KLPF offers FREE ENTRY to the public. The event will showcase state-of-the-art digital cameras, printers and solutions that feature the latest digital imaging products, product demonstrations and seminars.

Guys...is it better to wait for this event to get a new lens or I have a better bet getting it elsewhere??....

wonder if they will use this to also announce the new canon camera? 'state-of-the-art" cameras woh!!
