Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) is a combination of photography and travel events. The Yearly Photography Festival organized by Photo Creator Publication (Advanced Images Magazine, Photo Creator Magazine & Travelmate Magazine), will be held at Lower Ground, Berjaya Times Square, on 18-19 October, 2008.
The KLPF offers FREE ENTRY to the public. The event will showcase state-of-the-art digital cameras, printers and solutions that feature the latest digital imaging products, product demonstrations and seminars.
In conjunction with this event, photography contests will be held with attractive prizes. It aims to promote photography as a healthy hobby, encourage interaction and extend the festival experiences among readers, photography enthusiasts, upcoming photographers, travelers and others.
This two-day event includes:
1. Photography seminars and forums: allow visitors an opportunity to interact with professional photographers - Steve Chong, Arthur Teng, Eric Peris, Victor Chin, Kelvin Chan, Foo Kok Kin, Khairul Azhar Ramli, Rarindra Prakarsa (Indonesia), Lin Sheng (Taiwan) and many more.
2. Slide shows and travel tips: allow visitors an opportunity to interact with some professional backpackers, experienced travelers, famous hosts of television shows and book authors - Eric Ma, K.S. Lo, Shann K, Tong Xing, Chok Yen Hau, Ou Yang Shan, and Lim Ai Lin.
3. Shades of Colors photography exhibition
4. Photo trade fair: Camera sellers, manufacturers, retailers, nonprofits organizations, and partnering organizations will promote the latest and best photographic equipment, cameras, digital and video equipment, related accessories and merchandise. Rich product information and expert advice on a wide range of digital cameras, camcorders, and photo printers are also available.
5. Stage Photography contest: It is organized to encourage the understanding and application of photography skills in the field.

I remember last time they'd talks in both English and Chinese. But you're not going there for the talks only, you want to see the cameras and the photo shoot.
