how to set my video to dream scene?
my video is wmv file.

i guess just use the normal method right click desktop>Appearance>Desktop Background and find the video

but since install vista sp1.. i cant use dreamscene anymore

ur normal method is not work.

did you update your vista to service pack 1?

I updated to SP1 and I can use dreamscene.

i mean set others video as dreamscene.
not the dreamscene create by microsoft.

Set self-made or own video as DreamScene video wallpaper:

1. Right-click on the desktop.
2. Select Personalize.
3. Select Desktop Background.
4. From the Location dropdown menu, select Videos or Public Videos, or you can also choose Browse to the location of your video file to select video in not common place that is not detected.
5. Select a video that is to become desktop background.
6. Click OK.

what's problem with ur vista? AFAIK sp 1 doesnt affect ur vista to unable to use dreamscene, me using vista sp1 since few months already, no problem at all even with 3rd party dreamscene movie

Just one question guys,

is dreamscene applicable for xp? Sorry am not that good in this kind of thing.

after u had installed Dreamscene and DeskScapes u can jus right click the video and click set as destop background... well it works for me^^
note - not all kinds of video file can be use.


its only for vista ultimate... (correct me if im wrong)

u can try use BSplayer... it also can set the video that u r playing as a background

how to update vista to SP1??

lol i found the problem.. i accidently turned off dreamscene feature in control panel
