I always blast the music at 40(Pioneer 4950) and then my stock speaker couldn't handle it, and now my speaker "broke", I wonder if SoundStream PPC will satisfy me and can play 40 without big effort.

Well i've tried using Pioneer DEH 1550 HU power to power up my PCC6, so far sound quality is enjoyable, but haven't driven by my amp yet. Could sound even better when is pump up via amplifier.
Suggest getting component speaker driven by amp, and i'm sure will satisfy you more.

PCC is best driven by amp, or else wont be satisfying.

40 out of how much? if 40 out of 50, it might break too. but it all depends on the sifu's tuning.

:S Got what compoment is not good when with amp? Right?
I don't expect a lot, actually my car SGTI oem speaker really satisfied me, but now broke ad, just looking for a replacement.
It is a Clarion now, quite bassy, but couldn't handle high volume and high bass.

you should always look at the magnet, if its huge, it needs more power to push it.

Erm, is 40 out of 62 in a Pioneer 4950 model.
It worked quite ok, but after I listen some trance songs at this level, speaker broke, :S Many water sound now.

Soundstream picasso pcc6 wasn't meant for spl in mind. It only add a bit of blend in it. It's main priority is sql.
