By the way a question for all:
Is Autocad the best software for doing modeling?
How about other software like Solidwork?

Hi,

AutoCAD is meant for GENERAL Design from 2D Drafting to 3D Basic Modeling.
From version of 2007, you can have additional workspace called 3D Modeling.

So, it depends on you, if you are in Mechanical site, mostly designing 3D plus with Analysis, it is better for you to use Autodesk INVENTOR or CATIA(mostly for Automotive) and also SOLIDWORK.

Or, if you are more to Architectural, i will suggest you to use REVIT, 3Ds Max or VIZ or might be the cheapest+easy one, Sketchup.

If you need more details for my AutoCAD Training, kindly email me @ prodeegymaniac@yahoo.com.sg, i will reply to you with quotation, dates availability and also the syllabus.

Thank You.

autocad, solidwork, is for different purpose lol.. is like photoshop n illustrator maybe.. autocad can do general 2D drawing. simple 3D, but solidwork mostly for engineering for making mold maybe, the can connect to CAM or CNC machine, but it can be related maybe u can import ur 2D dwg from autocad to solidwork for 3d making..

I took my AutoCAD course in 12 days (3 days in a week for 4 weeks) where 3 hours per day. But that was 4 years ago.

yours is 10 days with 4 hours per day so total up, a 40 hours of course. Mine only a total of 36 hours. Pretty good deal to me.

Are you going to teach AutoCAD 2008? how much is the total cost for whole course (10 days)?

if you don't mind, you can PM me the cost. smile.gif
leenmafier
Yes,

That's true. As i'd said before...
Why people knew AutoCAD becoz it is used for GENERAL Drafting Design.
In the sense of Creating 3D Modeling... It is quite vast... Either you want to design 3D in Mechanical Drawing or might be in 3D Architectural or more to Civil 3D. Each of them have their own powerful Software application to make it realize their ideas.
