Hey guys, I just realised that when I wanted to change my display photo in my MSN Messenger I cannot click "okay" upon the display photo that has been chosen. Does it mean that it's buggy and any of you have encountered that before?
It doesn't support .JPG also b/c I tried inserting my own photo but to no avail. Kind of puzzling. Care to share your experiences here?

Which version of MSN Messenger for Mac are you using? But if you cannot change photo the function should not be there in the first place.
The one I am running on my MB is Version 7.0.1.

Apparently a lot of users are experiencing the same problem. One of the solutions is to downgrade it to version 6.0.3 and then it will prompt you to download or upgrade to version 7.0.1 and after the installation you can change the photo; however I did not try it and might just let it be then. Probably it's the MSN issue since they always have problems w/it anyway.

Talking about iSight, I did not try but checking it at the moment and not it does not work ... Y!M for Mac has webcam features though.
Yeah, I tried searching for the version 6.0.3 but none on the net ... Maybe I should use Adium but I do not really fancy the multiple chat programs.

Adium - IM that supports alot of IMs (er...eg:msn, yahoo, QQ etc)

I personally like Adium because its customizable, but it has its own bugs here and there. When i wanna use iSight i use iChat, just need a ME or AIM account.

I think MSN (Hotmail) have some problem.

Many times when chatting, a message "The following message could not be sent" will come out. I thought it's Adium's fault. But when using MSN for Mac also the same problem. I google it around and found many users with MSN account have the same problem too. So annoying at times until i'm thinking of using my phone's sms to chat.

If i'm not mistaken, there's no current version of IE for Mac anymore

. I prefer to use either Safari or Firefox. But there's some issue with Safari (attachment). It seems that the wording in some webpage 'disarranged'.

the word should actually be:

sorry for the late reply. I mean there's some problem with Safari in preventing it from displaying the webpage properly.
It's from a blog: paultan.org
Let me give one example: An apple a
day keeps the sickness away.
Assuming the
day in BOLD above is linked to other website, Safari will display the BOLD word(s) first as in:
day An apple a keeps the sickness away.
I have no issue with Firefox though which shows properly: An apple a
day keeps the sickness away.

oops. I don't mean that you say Safari is bad.

Firefox is a good alternative to Safari and IE. My IE on windows (not on mac) which I previously used always crash like hell. So slow and always hang (even latest version). Then I switch to Firefox (windows platform not on mac). Since then, never ever crash even once! I agree with Criollo and others...IE is bad bad bad
