Friend, you have to understand those unauthorised resellers are selling from points generated accounts which doesn't cost them anything. Most of these account they get by using phishing methods. It is like stealing from others. Do you want to support thieves??

We on the other hand are making a profit cut from selling the account which have very low margin. If you want cheaper per month, you can buy for 1 year.

And if more people buy from us, we could reduce the price in time. But with all the people supporting these unauthorised resellers, we do not have the quantity to reduce the pricing. Our aim, at least for OOTB Solutions is to sell at same pricing scheme with RapidShare.com. In order to do that, we need users to do the right thing by supporting authorised resellers.

^ Not all rapidshare accounts are done by phishing. Some of us buy the actual accounts directly from rapidshare. It is not wise to group it as a whole

I said "Most of these account they get by using phishing methods....". Those who sell by the dozen, how do you think they get all the points to generate the accounts? Still, it is not legal to sell Premium Account by unauthorised resellers.

It's just like software piracy and how it's affecting the people who are selling original. I must admit, it cannot be 100% fought off but something need to be done.

It's all about consumer education and having them doing the right thing. We are not talking like difference of RM3000 for Adobe Photoshop compared to RM10 for pirated installer. It's RM47 vs RM20. Like I said, with enough of buyers, we will hopefully be able to reduce the price in time.

yup..thats true..the main reason i use rapidshare acc is to download muvies,cracked games,muvie and sumtime in a blue moon,naughty stuff...so,cant say that im supporting thieves as i myself download illegal games..to get it cheap have to buy 1year acc??...315rm is cheap??..if buy illegal acc from forumer for 1year, only rm26+..we dont upload things,but we do the donload part most of the time.

You gotta be kidding me right? It IS a premium account, and falls under the same T&C.

1st you need to know that rapidshare is just a host that stores all your data. even if they delete users will re-upload using another name for the file. so why are you so angry about it, you yourself should get real. most people cannot afford original stuff, unlike you. can you watch the dramas that is aired in another country a few thousand miles away? some shops don't even sell it. so that's when you download to watch it.

Whatever you saying, its still illegal according to law. You buy premium account from authorized reseller, then you download anything, of course illegal movies, instead waiting tv3 or astro to air the show. The act of download and store copyright movies with no permission, still illegal... My suggestion, switch to other like MU, or wait Media Prima's channel to air all your fav tv program if REALLY respect the law of copyright... As for me, don't really care.....

so what if you cant buy cheap rs account. here i give you suggestion, quickly add the rs account seller to your friend list, then after 1st august you just deal pm-to-pm no need to open thread on lyn. then lyn dont have to get sue from anyone.

or be a good boy, buy the "real" account. i bought one year rs premium account. per month cost is just cheap enough.

or just download as free user, and suffer slow download time.
