using abit ax78 at the moment.. trying to oc my ram but nothing.. only option to change the ram timing hv.. any option how to increase my ram timing? using corsair xms2 dhx 2x1gb

you can adjust it under adv chipset features > dram configuration > dram clock.

dram onli stated ddr2 800 is the max..how i want to increase to 800++??

u cant increse as u like, if u wan to go over 800, u need to overclock ur processor

On AMD system, RAM is always the derivative of cpu clockspeed. The values such as DDR2-400, DDR2-667, DDR2-800 or DDR2-1066 are just 'dividers', they don't represent the true RAM clockspeed. For actual speed, it depends on CPU multiplier and the HTT speed.
Please refer to AM2/AM2+ overclocking thread on the first page. There is a set of table for your reference. This is actually just basic.
