as topic .. sometime when i boot up my pc .. rivatuner show a constant increase of temperature from 55-70 in few minutes without and 3d application.
to solve this .. i have to restart .. sometime i restart 2 times the the problem solved as it stay on 55celcius ...
i also realize that the GC card fan sometime spin very slow .. that is the cause that make the temp shoot high ..
is it the GC FAN problem ? coz why after restart once i get the right temperature then its OK for the whole session until the next boot-up..
thx

What GC series and how old already?
ongdandy
your room temperature?
nightsatan
emmm, my opinion will be best if you change the fan on the GC to a better one. Or put a water cooler to further decrease the temp for your GC

u need to check ur inside casing temp and ur room temp. check all cable whether any of it block airway from the fan. ur casing back must face an empty space for hot air to blown away so it does not feel hot.

maybe your gc fan stops working...

Echo that. I used to have a X1900XT that needed cleaning every 3 months or so. BIG pain in the a*s.
