I believe some Windows system DLLs have corrupted. Try to re-update all Windows critical files, security packages, service packages and updates by typing:

CODE
sfc /scannow

You can view the Event Viewer under Administrative Tools in Control Panel to see system error logs.

Two ways:
1) type in the command prompt if you run Command Prompt (cmd.exe)
2) Start -> Run -> sfc /scannow

Launch the Run dialog box by pressing Windows Key + R.

Type that command into the popped dialog box.

Yes, it is possible. Every major Service Pack update will check for any missing updates and components.

It solve the drWatson problem, but the window explorer not responding isn't. Any idea? Btw, I tried downloading service pack 3 and other updates, but it failed at initialing installation... process... Should I reformat again? Btw, I am using ori windows XP home
