The game will utilize a new server architecture to support online battles with up to 256 players, with users divided into 8-player squads. Each squad will be led by a player who has advanced through the game's ranking system. Character statistics and development will also increase with frequent gameplay.

Basic battles will take place within ongoing, faction-based campaigns to encourage the player to actively play.

The game's E3 unveiling trailer featured large landscapes, tactics such as air strikes and parachuting, and a variety of vehicles, from tanks and APCs to airplanes.

It has not been announced if the game will be a third person shooter, like Zipper's previous SOCOM series, or a first person shooter.

This game gonna be great

I think it really depends on the server itself...i hope streamyx can tahan the connection....

I believe a dedicated server is a must for a game of this scale - P2P is not an option. I guess it will follow Warhawk and RFoM with the architecture.

maybe the connection will be judge on how good the players connects
to the server, i think :/

so this game will be squad based? nice! if some of us use a little bit of teamwork

can't imagine how network can handle massive player, must be superb network design to support this game... 18 player on COD4 ground war is lag like crazy.....

Itu sbb dia tak guna dedicated server, dia gunakan player punya PS3 jadikan server.

Game macam Resistance, 40 player, yg guna dedicated server mmg xde lag.

yeah sure i will lag but the lag will be like in warhawk lag, you know you lag but you barely seee it and you can still grab some kills and get top player...

i already put this game to the wishlist... and i think this game won't lag bcoz they got mention 256 players and 8 players in 1 squad... so connection will be no problems i think...

same here in my area...streamyx sometimes very fast sometimes mcm kura-kura , thats why im not playing it via online...already complaint to telekom@streamyx...but nothing happen...gizzz
