hi, everyone, helping my friend to ask about OS that used in Cyber Cafe. He going to invest in Cyber Cafe, now facing windows problem, want to ask here, is it every pc in the cafe need to install genuine OS? Got any method to apply windows license for all the pc in the CC?thanks in advance

not only you should be 'worry" about the OS ... you also need to look upon ... line connection ... power backup for the whole shop ...business registration ... monitoring software for .. collection$$$$$.... etc etc etc

not very understand what it mean, anyone apply it before?

everything settle already, now just want to solve the windows problem

It means u will buy a license key from Microsoft, but that same key u can use in 30 pc..
becoz normal license key u can only activate one time in 1 pc, but this VLK (volume license key) u can use back the same key in 30 pc becoz its registered for 30 pc.

ofcourse u pay the price for 30 pc, else if somehow u only asked to pay for price less than 30 pc it means its illegal not genuine already.

so will the VLK cheaper a lot?

I think the VLK (volume license key) only applicable to MS Office, not Windows.

BTW just for your information, Microsoft has stop production of Windows XP from 30 Jun 08.

Now, you can only buy Vista.

i know have to spend huge amount on it but see whether got method to get some discount on it, think VLK is the only way
