The blu ray and the PS3 is too difficult to duplicate and hack.
Come on, enough with all this piracy stuff. There is always rumours about this. Lets just be happy with what we have so far. Furthermore, Sony would always be able to upgrade the firmware and disable some features if we dive into CFW.

Hi umm i'm planning to buy an xbox360 to play gtaiv since its cheaper than ps3.But I noticed there is a high chance that your xbox360 can have the rrod problem and also its graphic and engine is lousier than the ps3.I don't know much about consoles but I do love to play consoles.Umm just wondering how much is a new 40gb regular original ps3 and the 20 gb ps3?What is the cheapest option I have to buy a brand new ps3?Cause I don't have much money and I wanna know if I can afford it.Thanks

Is those PS3 that supports PS2 games very hard to find at this point of time? as I DO play visual novels (Memories Off Series, Little Busters), and others... i sold my PS2 around 1 year ago and now i play those games on my friends PS3....

You can just ask for quotes from dealers in this forum.
Price for Singapore sets should be about RM13xx. Malaysian sets about RM15xx.
If budget limited, look for 2nd hand sets in forums here .... many people selling.

there are a number of sellers (here and at lowyat) selling the 80gb ps3 with sony warranty? is the warranty still valid even if i don't buy from sony centre?
cause the ps3 is cheaper from these sellers.

As long as you register the warranty online, you'll get it. I just registered my SG set yesterday. You'll need a valid SG address tho (I used my friend's) and now I'm covered one year from Sony SG.

When you sign up for the warranty, they'll ask you how you got it. I just selected "received as gift". As long as the serial number of your console is valid and has never been registered, you can register for the warranty. When the process is done, Sony issues you a Warranty Contract Number. Save this. It's important. I guess you just need that.

Stay away from that shop! It's probably one of the most over-priced shop I've ever been to. Go and ask
for the PS3 price if u don't believe me.

did u ask for his latest package? i am not sure but whenever u ask for watever package he will quote it best price for them...
as for the 15XX yes some has game provided as well... but the XX might be 01 - 99 and the free game that they give i believe is The Club or UT3 where the cost for the game now is kinda low ^^
just my 2 cents and i am just suggesting one of the stores that i regular go to that i found it a very good deal compare to some other stores that i experienced...
he asked for suggestion so i just recommend wat i feel best... if u have ur recommendation stores u can voice out too...

the Dual Shock 3 basically are included for all MY PS3 set...the shop that u mention actually offers same price as Sony Style for the console itself..like me myself bought it from alexwlh ( one of the LYN forummers ) who also had a shop at sungei wang plaza , PLAY ON ENTERPRISE..
