thats docomos you can do that, but softbanks/vodafone japan need sim card to get into phone

for docomo phones, i believe most if not all functions have been unlocked...the features not working due to no content provider like imode or 1 seg locally, if there is, then it will work for sure but if u're hoping for that to be available here, i think you're better off moving to Japan....its not gonna happen here for sure.

from what my friend says on softbanks, its breaking the encryption to be able to edit the gprs settings on phones like 705sh, 904sh, 920sh. He says the 920sh is even harder to crack vs the 705sh/904sh and it wore him out just looking at it

well it does depend, in the 920sh, you cant use the themes on the chinese versions and there are some ui parts on the japanese ones that are nicer. but functions wise chinese model more like local phones

I'm used to it lol, its been a year on japanese fw on my 903sh and with no t9 I can switch off to my t9 904t and back without issues

hehe.. i don like to use t9. i addi used to type ea char 1 by 1
nah, dont use much chinese...gotta sms in english to a lot of my friends, but i dont notice that i am much slower on t9 or no t9, i seem to type the same speed. It really depends on the phone keypad that makes a difference. a no t9 920sh or 904sh is much easier than the keypad on my 903sh with t9 or without. nice and soft keys makes a difference when a i text

i know its effing nice!!! but the functionality isn't there!!! I'm just afraid it isn't going to be practical when I buy the phone @_@
Of course it looks so damn effing awesome but.......but..... T_T
too bad there isnt any gsm on toshibas and sdhc support, b/c it contains t9, easy to convert music to aac-le/hc and fairly functional. 911t has 1gb internal but max memory is 2gb microsd and t9.

yup me works as a secondary phone. I use the camera more than I use the phone. only problem with Jphone nowadays is its so hard to get technical support, rather its more kinda like open support.
