those 905i n 906i docomo supports java application rite??? but as i know they're in i application java style, but im wondering anyone here knows where can i get some java based or whtever that works for my so905i, games, dict, whtever, i know so905i isnt the popular phone here, but it supports mp3 n atrac files, so i went for it. anyone who knows where to get the application kindly help here

Hmm, here's my comment based on my experience (to what I still can remember):

- Interface wise I think even more difficult than Docomo one.... lol
- Only very limited phonebook storage (50 or 100.... something like that). Cannot use from SIM, IIRC
- Similar to the interface of Vodafone PDC phones.
- GX series alike look.

Can't remember much as the last time I touched it was 2 years ago.






Do support but not sure you could transfer Java apps to memory card and load it from there (chances are slim though). The recommended way is to download via iMode but is sad that we can't use this solution.

This applies to Euro firmware only (at least for the firmware that I have):

- There is no copy on the sent message folder for SMS/MMS sent
- You will need to do OTA provisioning for each time after you shutdown or restart the phone so that the data packet feature is configured properly and activated. (You can do this with different ways depends on your telco carrier you are using).

Other than that, there is no others that I know.

my 920sh it only made sound out of speaker when open and close, not when turning screen. dont have it on me so not sure if that can be changed, but silent mode turns it off

but talking bout the F906..the looks department is soooo nice esp. the white one but the absence of bluetooth is really a letdown. I m surprised the japanese, despite so technologically advance, don't really focus on bluetooth.

i guess they focus more on i-mode. when got ur sh906i d post some gd reviews ^^

there is one downside, for almost every docomos (based on users review) - battery life is a serious problem.

1 day (sometimes less than 1 day, if you are on heavy usage) can tabao the battery jor.

so you might consider get a extra battery, or a in-car charger, for emergency.

it is a norm for the japanese to charge their phone, everyday.

1) because ur phone is kind of 'no signal/network' sometime
2) then the phone will search for signal/network

so that's why the phone batter so fast habis.

last time when i m in 'data center' at UPM, my 902sh no line.. and 'serching network . . . ' .. and yes, full charge battery half day oledi left 2 bar (25% i guess) . no calling pun
