urs sim card kinda like those "L" shape sim cards...

if digi ,you`ll either hae to perform cpr often or restart the phone . then again differentphone and sim chip may vary though .

now i'm using happy on my p905i. still stable . the line strength full bar too.

If not mistaken , 824sh was confirmed to be stable in SG.

look like L but its not the same one. The rite L sim is what is shown on the 1st page of this thread which has the best stability.

Well actually my P905i dont have any problem CPR / UIM not recognized, even i inserted non L shape maxis sim its stable if im not travelling and heading into coverage blindspot. But L shape u-mobile more stable if i move slowly like shah alam to KL... maxis non L shape died easily (but stable if im not travelling too far non stop)

Hotlink users can replace sim cards in Maxis center too jz tat for postpaid they replace for free while Hotlink users hv to pay RM25 if i m not mistaken...

Seems a lot of people experiencing this problem on SH906i, it might be related to firmware bugs. Try the MTP without unlocking the phone see if it works.

well at least u can still see the songs' names

just realised i never had CPR problem with GSM since i got the phone.. except when i switch to 3G mode which will stay "out" all the time
TSL problem occurs but not often, maybe once or twice a day at most, but most of the time no problem absolutely stable.

by the way voda, the screen protector for the camera came off before i even knew it -___- not very sticky is it? >.<

Dun get me wrong, i still love the phone very much, but the main reason is to play music on it and now its not working -___- not the way i want it to anyways.
If anyone wants a sh906i and not looking forward to playing much music on the phone, (camera, video, pictures everything perfect) then I'd be willing to trade my phone for your j-phone xD
else, i will just stick to the old style of playing music...

by the way, what is the file structure for wma? i realised i have only been using AAC format. Maybe DnD wma might be different...

Don't think SIM hack plays a role in MTP mode as I tried before that without bypass SIM the MTP mode is also usable.

Suggest you go only for GSM and it seems the current S6 revision has some issue in 3G mode.

About the camera protector, shouldn't be too easy to came off unless got sticked by other objects or lifted corners by other objects.

Sound: Dolby Virtual Mobile Surround, absolutely brilliant sound like 2.1 speakers lol only thing its low volume on loudspeaker(like half a SE walkman phone volume)
Camera: 5.2MP, auto focus, optical zoom up to 5x i think, zooming no auto focus lol. marvelous quality pictures, Much better than my dad's N95 ohoho
(and if i dare say, almost as good as a mid range canon or olympus camera)
Display: 3.0" sharp aquos technology 16million colours. Seriously sharp images, with slight contrast problem, i think its a BIT too high lol just a bit, cause i see toda-chans face look redder than the original image haha
oh and awesome job on the LEDs f***ing cool if i may say xD


one forumer in HoFo or something said he inserted iNex sim in it and MTP worked for him, when he took it out it didnt work, so maybe(im just hypothizing[if theres such word]) sim hack plays a role in unlocking or maybe updating/faking the firmware?
Not entirely sure since i'm not in this scene for a long time, just assuming based on my experience with PSPs (where firmware can play a huge part in unlocking a lot of stuff, as well as cause dmg to your machine =D)

You can get those phones from Garage Sales. I don't think there is any shop selling J-phone in kl. But be prepared that there are a lot of restriction for most of the models and only a few models that are fully unlocked.

I like to comment on 904sh cam in lowlight condition..
The pic looks washed out and color is not accurate...
Performance in lowlight is bad...
Btw I have a hard time getting it to play mp3/aac files...

hmm, at night yeah, but in low light indoors, the 904sh had less of that low light filter look the 903sh had in many pictures, where the picture would overexpose if you didnt set to -2 exp (sometimes it would sitll over expose.
this is the best example I can come up with since i dont have my 904sh anymore, but on all the 903sh I've used I've had this issue that the weird filter looking after the pic is taken similar to this. Same lighting condition, but different angle, but i still get it on my 903 from the same position

on the left of the picture you can see the slight filter like color.

here is the closed 904sh picture I can find, I can make another picture using a 903 in the same condition, i might try later.


I am guess my deal with 904sh isnt much low light pics, but rather regular indoor pictures vs the 903sh in my experience. Though that vga screen did make pictures look better on the phone screen than pc screen
