id you put the music files to the memory card? I think toshiba needs to be on the phone memory instead Also, did you try making mmf? You need to convert the mp3 to wav at 22khz or lower and under 300kb to make an MMF file using yamaha wave sound decoder

Oh no, i put the file in the memory card. I shall with the phone memory.

The MMF one, I don't know how to do..-___-||

for loading movies or songs to ur docomo phone...u have to sync or update the phone to recognize the file. only sh905i will auto update if i am not mistaken...the option will be at the memory card area..if i am not mistaken...

Gaaah, my docomo still wont startup. It's still asking for the security code. It's not my sim card problem, coz I've disabled the pin code request. Now I'm pretty sure it's my phone's prob. Any other suggestions guys?

Try to key in the security code manually from 0000 to 9999.
If still can't, then the security code might be 5 digits or greater (max 8 digits) which is very difficult.

Yeah its definitely the phone's security code which kicks in when a different simcard is detected. The previous owner, if he can use the phone, then its because the phone have recognised his simcard and I am sure he already had them changed, otherwise, he will be having the same problem as you are now. Press him for the codes, otherwise, reject the sale.

The original code for docomo is 0000. Try 1234 or 0123 too if the previous user changed them to these...if these few codes do not work, you've got no other way but to go back to your seller for the codes or reject the sale or like bro vodafone said, to use a tedious method to try each and every code from 0000, 0001, 0002 to 9999. And that's hoping he only uses 4 digit. If he uses more...I think you're better off getting the phone from other seller.

go directly to the seller and get his securitycode, which is more sensible.

Well no choice if can't sort out anything with the seller to get the refund. Besides, he stated that the seller said didn't change the security code before so that means the seller himself/herself doesn't even know it. so the suggested way would be the last resort if no other better ways.

This same situation happens to one customer who bought V-SIM for his SO905i (He bought the from Japan [Used set] and security phone code is not the default). He can't return back the phone due to purchase from a shop in Japan so I suggest him to manually try to key in 0000 to 9999. He was lucky enough as the previous owner set the secuity as 0103 (which he got it around 104 tries?).

So a reminder for those who purchase used J-phone: Remember to request for the Security Code from the seller in case. Besides, test the security on the spot (if meet up to COD). Could test out by trying to change the security code which the phone will ask for the current security code before allowing for the new security code to be entered.

Maybe pana could include this caution note on the 1st post.

laugh.gif thats true but come into think that if you don't try, then the phone will render unusable (wasted for the money to use to purchase the phone) might gives you some motivation to do so. Unless your main purchase factor is to use it for music/video playback.

hopefully his seller is not like me (who uses 5-digit security code).

thats the same issue i have on the 903sh i bought on ebay, person had a security code off of it, but it was an all sales final. So my only choice was to send it and get it reflashed...2006 taiwan firmware. I did what sonic_cd mentioned, enter continously then got bored halfway lol

The only way left: Try to brute force unlock by entering 1 by 1 manually.

Maybe could try AT command way to retrieve but not sure is it possible.

tongue.gif
awong
I guess I shall brute force my 902t since the code is blocking my IR and master reset function, should have sent it to the same person to unlock along with flash my 903sh, but I want to see how bad the OUT will be when I get out of my house (low signal area). And I just fixed the screen rotation on it after my friend told me how his was functioning. Turns out his he had to turn phone slowly, I starting playing around with the hinge closing and openning with screen facing up and now its working like my old 902t

yosh bro...I've so far tried 4 branches (Northam, Gurney Plaza, Prangin Mall & Butterworth) all don't have anymore. I guess there's no more 'L' shape sim in the north.

Someone did mentioned KLCC still can get but too bad I ain't going to KL anytime soon sad.gif

So I also pretty much gave up on the 'L' sim already.
miyakochan89
I thought they have changed the shape of the SIM card altogether.

Anyway, does anyone know if the J-phones work with bluetooth headset? If not I can't talk on the phone because of the unhealthy radio wave. =P
