for old young and everyone....
after 2 weeks of usage of sh906i ..... coz i travelling around JB Singapore and KL this 2 week ...

1. The line quite stable in Kuala Lumpur also will auto search back the line and sometime with turn off and turn on (50% works if the line is dead)... but for some factory area the line is totally dead ..... and need to do cpr ..on the way going from kl to jb total 1 cpr needed , same with jb to kl. No suggest to Bring keitai for roaming because the phone will search for different mobile service provider(Other country MSP) when roaming at other counter which cause u need to do cpr quite regulary where the phone switching service ...

2. the phone charging is quite troublesome when u need to carefully open the cover ...

3.The display rotate is okay but not recommended to show off to your friend because sometime they will rotate the wrong side o(><)o

4.need to extra careful because it is a clamshell phone plus rotatable screen that have 2 weak point .. not recommended for harsh enviorment (=.= wink.gif

5.Battery life ...... errr ...compare to last phone tht i bought w850i .......
about 3 time drain faster .... mayb due to heavy usage on the video when everytime show off to some friend ... hehe ...(TBC)

6.Touch Cruiser will much more increase the joystick lifetime when no need to push so many time to going up and down (Compare to Ordinary Joystick)....

7.3g can call cannot recieve ...

8.No internet due to need to use imode

9.For the Camera ,i cannot say the captured picture is good but i can say is standard where there is going to be 8.0mega pixel phone coming ..... but after capture the picture and show on the phone .... the picture looks superb compare to ordinary mobile phone (Because of Screen Quality and size)

Basically if u just need a fancy exotic phone that just can call and sms and regular usage of Camera .. u can go for it

bro airvirus,

u mentioned the need to do CPR on certain conditions...may i know what unlock sim u are using??

coz i read that newer unlock sim actually solves the need to do CPR entirely so its no more CPR...it would be a lot convenient without the CPR coz usually we don't bring other phone just to do CPR when we are outdoor rite.

mayb my litle information will help u clarify a bit.

I am using V-Sim(May version correct me if i m wrong) from bro voda, and i m using P905i.

My situation was almost same as bro airvirus where certain condition need to do CPR, it is where u travel to certain area and it changed to another signal tower but some how cant recover back signal.

Last week i traveled from Bukit Jalil to Mid Valley taking Star Lrt and KTM. During my travel in KTM, I encountered "out of signal" at station Seputeh. But when I came back from Mid Valley to Bukit Jalil I encounter no "out of signal" sweat.gif

Overall I only need to do CPR 1 to 2 times a weeks, in a day approximately i will encounter 2-3 times "out of signal" but it will immediately recover back signal without the need to do CPR. The most is restart the phone then it will recover back signal again wink.gif

Regarding the auto turn off and turn on, so far i didnt encounter any of it wink.gif so i guess V-Sim does work very well on DoCoMo phone.

Hope this help u a bit laugh.gif

Nobody tested the no CPR bypass SIM locally so it is still unsure the capability.

many thanks bro for the explanation but then again, 1 to 2 times CPR is still a hassle to me coz I using quite frequent due to work and i travel (domestic) a lot too. doh.gif

i heard bearbrick would be bringing in new unlock sim, would like to see it tried and tested on the performance, the CPR in particular. bro vodafone, how bout your side?? any plans to bring in new unlock sim??

hmm...i see so many of us here kena poison hehehehe there are truly so many nice models to choose, difficult to make a decision rclxub.gif but then, i m kinda made up my mind on the SH906iTV (why oh why no one else choose the same model as me le??? hmm.gif ) am now waiting for some review on this model before i confirm to get this one...its a suffering to wait vmad.gif

my main concern is only 2 things :

- does unlock sim work on SH906iTV. (worried due to SH905iTV does not support unlock sim)
- from the downloaded manual, the picture shows the simcard is actually a slot (similar to digicam's sd card slot) my worry is that when simcard coupled with unlock sim will make it unable to slot in cry.gif

anyone can help giving some positive n assuring answer ka?? i wanna buy la....kenot wait....its painful to wait cry.gif

Hmm currently no plans to bring in new bypass SIM yet as the no CPR solution in Singapore will works the same at other countries.

For the SIM slot, it is slot-in type found in 911T/920SH instead of SIM tray. As the current bypass SIM is very thin and the angle corner it facing outside, so should be no problem inserting SIM + bypass SIM. Bypass could unlock the previous SH905iTV model just that because it is a 3G only model, so practically not usable.

Love to but unfortunately, I've got a few things to do that day.
Maybe next time around.

Actually, I'm not using it at the moment although I own it.
It seems that it's not working well with my sim card plus I can't have line outage at the moment
because I'm expecting some important calls these few days. sad.gif
Downside of using Digi prepaid.

I've played around with the phone abit and can understand why Japanese like to change their phone
on a yearly basis. Their phones are jam-packed with features.
I've spent quite some time just to see each feature.
A pity quite a number can't be used here.
panasonic88
aww sadly, digi doesnt work well with the docomos.

by the way, how's the touch screen panel? everything is fine? biggrin.gif
alvin_yong_87
thn u better get hotlink or celcom prepaid other than digi coz both of tat work quite well on docomo's phone..

yea of cos, their technologies are far far greater than the normal phone in our market..such as an example, the time whn they released the new 903sh last time...our domestic market jz released the 2.0megapixels camera phone,i think tat was also the time whn se k750i and w800i jz released..thn few years later a cybershot 3megapixels camera phones jz released..
so, their technologies are more advanced 2-3yrs than us...

i guess nwadays still none of the local phones has Full WVGA screen gua..and oso few flip phone which hav more than 2.4 inches screen..the onli phone tat i noe is nokia N76 with 2.4 inches screen...other flip phone i think still remain at 2.0 n 2.2 inches screen...

therefore as a conclusion, jphones rock!!!
Seaedge
i wan to buy Umobile sim ady.. heheheh dunno can use on jphones o not...
Enigmatic
Hey Seaedge, try that out for me ya. wink.gif
Pretty interested in Umobile's offering. Seems to be pretty cheap though.
yupio
hmm...DoCoMo has some shareholding in U mobile....so i dunno if it has any impact on compatibility....

was hoping they could introduce DoCoMo phones with U mobile package....I think it would be overwhelming to the malaysian market if they do so....i for one will straight away move over to u mobile that way hehehe
Kt3
The touch screen is nice, but sometimes I miss touching the hotspot and accidentally go into another option, lol.

Wish I could change my line but can't do so at the moment because sometimes I get my part time job through this number and I have no idea where the referrer comes from.
Also, I'm waiting for calls on my job application as I'm planning to change my job.
Maybe in future I will.

2-3 years more advanced indeed.
I once went to Japan and saw those cash registers which had ad telly on it with bar code reader too and thought that it was a great idea.
2-3 years later, it was implemented in Malaysia.
Now, when you walk into 7-11 you'll see those cash register.

Now if only they're able to implement the change vending machine well where you can change notes into coins.

but pretty dangerous me thinks if its on the phone n u happen to lose the phone one day. wonder whether it has any security measures, like need to further enter a pin number upon transaction or what not.

certain models have this feature.

like this,

it requires you to scan your finger prints before turning on the phone.
