hmm...all along I am having GPRS and I read from other forums that when they see GPRS, its more stable (less UIN Unrecognised and less CPR). And its like random whether u see GPRS or GSM, we cannot control it.

haih, I hope my phone's gonna be more stable over time....will see if its still the same for 1 week, will start hunting for 'L' simcard...Anyone managed to change to 'L' type Maxis sim in Penang / Butterworth do tell ya!

if not mistaken it should be GSM which is the most stable. Previously we came out an analogy. If there's GPRS available, chances are you'll get screwed due to the phone trying to engage communicatioin with DOCOMO NTT. Not sure of the updated bypass sim...

Today i brought the phone to school. Of course, it was an attraction to the whole class. Everyone came asking questions, they take turns passing the phone around. 1 bad thing is, now the Signal Sign, shows the Chinese words only-without choose network. I tried doing CPR, didn't work, tried doing transfer from my samsung to the sh905i, the signal was strong for a few minutes only then poof, the chinese words appeared again.
I think they messed the phone settings, ->international roaming-> 3g/GSM and the network search mode. I think it's fcked.

this n905 is pearl white... but different angle will slightly change its colour (yest i saw green instead of pink).

very slim.. too bad i cant use it now without any bypass sim. gonna pm voda to test a black bypass... bcoz not much of duit and seems black is one of the latest? i actually oso wan to try try only.. becoz its not the phone that i want... might sell it out soon after try out.

The most common reason is that TMSI expired. This will cause the need for you to do CPR. The cause of TMSI expirationcould by switching signal towers. Also when there are too many users connected to the signal tower where reach its limit, the signal tower will then expires those TMSI issued which is currently on standby and release the slot and assign to other user which need to utilize for calls/SMS. It will randomly pick by the signal tower for the TMSI recollection.
