i have an Acer AL1916W monitor and i've some prob lately in particular the resolution
previously i have used the monitor for almost a year now and have no problem with it at all.....but lately the reso seems to be distorted, and i've tried the following but still no result

-installing/updating the driver for the monitor
-installing/updating the driver for graphic card (intel ® graphics for laptop)

and in my display settings, my laptop recognise my monitor as 'default monitor' instead of 'plug and play monitor'

any pro/guru here can help..i'm getting headache with the distorted resolution rclxub.gif

Distorted as in it's not properly aligned with your monitor?

distort - the monitor native resolution is 1440 x 900, but i'm on 1400 x 1024 now, hence it's distorted
nothing too serious, but it's stretching and making everything slightly fat, which is not very good to my eyes!!!
weird thing is, i have no problem previously as i've been using it for almost a year now...then suddenly this problem

i can't go back to 1440 x 900....
downloaded and updated both monitor and graph card driver
maybe my graph card do not support this reso?? but couldn't be since i've been using for almost a year now w/o prob rclxub.gif
