Hi,

I need you guys opinion & advice as is there anybody who out there who're involved in BCP or disaster recovery process? Any recommendation on any good software available in market for the daily backup on the system [server - Wintel & Unix (Solaris)] as well all the active directory and domain? Anyone?? icon_question.gif

well, if your company can afford it, veritas seems to be used by nearly everyone nowadays. Something like windows.

They are proven reliable and have lots of reseller.

If you can afford large scale servers, then you can afford to buy proper backup solutions. Companies like veritas don't charge you RM3000 for their software for nothing. They have R&D to test it in large scale servers for robust and reliability. How can you say such a thing like don't trust software solutions?

Thanks for the advice abubin.

We are using Veritas currently. To be specified its Veritas 6.0 with Bare Metal Restore. Besides Acronis is there any method? software? solution available+reliable+proven in the market?
