Got my 4600+ F3 at 200. Box version. Please teach me on how to overclock my F3.
Im running 1Ghz HTT, 235FSB. 1.35V Vcore.

No need so high VCore.Mine 1.25V edy can push and stable@3.1Ghz.Yours not really good batch or u just increase it?

just increase it. standard is 1.2v only. teach me teach me.

Set the vcore to the default 1.25v already can get 3Ghz..no need 1.35v tat much..

for processor oc:

1. lower down ya ram divider to ddr667/533

2. lower down ya htt multi to 4x/3x

3. for warm up, try (12*250) 3.0GHz @ 1.20~1.25v.

4. prime it, if stable for 1 hour, increase gradually like + another 10MHz increase in htt. prime it again, if not stable, add a notch of vcore and/or vNB. but usually i'll just increase vNB for a 2/3 notch from default.

5. repeat step 4 until d point that no matter how much vcore u put d chip won't be prime stable. (watch d temp of ya chip & pwm).

1.35v i cant get with 275fsb. even with ddr533 and 2.0 ram voltage.
htt i cant lock it. i set 1000 in bios and now running 1300.

u ain't need to increase vdimm until 2.0v with that kinda speed they are runnin, mite risk spoillin 'em...

set it to 800/600 instead. it increases along with d htt value.

1000 = 5x
800 = 4x
600 = 3x
and d list goes on...

something is really wrong there, u mite need to re-seat d cooler again. @ 3.1GHz w/ 1.3v, it shouldn't reach 62'c even w/ stock cooler imo...

this paste came from a freind that help me install my set.
i didnt know anythiong about assembling my pc.
i used it from my first 9550 with my s1283 xigmatek.
and then when i sell my xigmatek i had to use it with the stock cooler.
and now used it for my 4600 heatsink.
is the paste making my processor hot?

no, tx-2 is one of d best thermal grease available (pls correct me if i'm wrong). it's more on d way u applied it. u must spread it equally.

is it possible to post a pic of ya case to show d ventilation of air?

xigmatek s1283 is a good cooler, u feel hot coz it bring out the heat, is good thing.. if not buy hyper tx2 lor, vr cheap

F3 is ok for that voltage.. my G1 ran with 1.4v @ ~3ghz
after sometimes - stress test u will need to decrease/increase the voltage to get optimum results..

Yup. Better Cpu cooller is needed for oc.
