just now i up my cpu fsb to 400 and the bios did not show post and i reset my comp it say overclock failed...what's wrong ?

why didnt you push your multiplier? cant simply push multiplier and fsb.

15 not standard? can push more right? try to google some oc or get some of the same processor owner give your their configuration.

nope, dun have that thingy in my bios 13, dun think abit will be kind enuf to have acc on a sb600 board. i still prefer biostar/dfi bios, abit is a 'lil plain seriously...

there's no nb multi option too, but d abit moderator claimed that he has his, i guess it's cpu dependent then...

From my oc experience in both platforms

Intel: clinical, easy and very good results, reached my max oc in just 5 days of tweaking
AMD: Lots more parameters to tweak, took me nearly 1 n half months to touch max speed, and I never really got the best from my rams

Fun factor belongs to AMD for all the leceh-ness though

As for the basics, similar to intel except the HTT clock doesnt go as high as FSB, you might wanna watch the HTT link(keep around 1000 for K8), and looses that memory setting(forgot the name, but it had values like 75ns, 105ns so on) when clocking higher. Otherwise its mostly similar to intel

Oh yea......and dont trust the internal temp probe if you're using a Brisbane proc, its broken

that why i stick to amd, excitement is there, remember last time to search for 24/7 spot, took me a few month, n to find the max oc same like that oso.. coz i love Super PI,

Actually overclocking AMD is quite simple.Why not try checking the guide from the bro kmarc?Btw,dont expect you can shoot the HTT as high like FSB.Maybe HTT to 400?
Same goes with QPI,later QPI cannot shoot up like FSB too.

prolly more vcore needed. 1.15v for 3.1GHz can hardly stable unless u got a golden batch w/ u.

3.2 u will get at 1.27~1.3x

so pump more, or u have to try other psu man

super PI onli utilizes one core.. try use Hyper PI.. maybe it will show different result.. same like orthos..

buy that 2nd 500W like liberty enough edy..
try using 1.46 cpu-z..
if urs really M2N-E mobo.. use the asus utility..
the probe shows the correct reading..

we suggest for the true power above 500w.. sure u need to spend 2xx~5xx am i state too many digit
just realize te version of CPU-z
