bobo love to use search engine. tongue.gif

anyways... yea i notice this game gonna be out this year, september maybe? if everything goes well they will ship it, this game is from valve? i thought it was from dunno what company. Also, I dunno about this game, the gameplay might be repetitive, sure they added a feature called ramdom spawn, even 100 times u play the timer and zombie spawn location will be different, if you're a good shooter, u might need only a little help but overall u almost did all the killing if team with newbies, but i dunno that yet until the game is out, now i just hoping it would an awesome game to play co-op mode and for the multiplayer i know u can choose to become the zombie leader or some sort to delay or kill the humans. See how the game works once it release. (I search engine this, you can't find this anywhere)
Edison83
been waiting this game quite long *drool*
gonna getting it wen its launch
OmniAtlas
Less then 60 days before release. The countdown begins.

One good thing i noticed was the requirement needed.
According to its website the requirement was similar to "Orange-box" so pretty accessible to most out there.
OmniAtlas
I'm just looking for something fun to play.

You could have the greatest graphics in the world, (hello crysis) but if its not fun, its a no-go.

i've spent hours on team fortress. co-op is my kind of game play. this looks like fun and i'll be looking forward to it.

we should start a L4D Steam name listing so we can invite each other to games when it starts. lol.

Try this before L4D is release. smile.gif
OmniAtlas
my only worries with l4d is that it won't have replayability. once you know the maps inside and out, its basically like playing with bots...wait...it is zombie bots you're fighting against smile.gif but, with a story component.
SpikeTwo
but with friends! it should be fun...and plus luckily there will be human controlled enemies too. so still not so bad. maybe it won't last as long as games like CSS or COD4...we shall see.

the thing is, i am surely getting this one!

Seems like you totally missed out most of the core components in L4D. The AI director will spawn zombies depending on the situation of the survivors, where the zombie spawn point and numbers may varies for most of the play thru.

also source games are built for modification, im 100% sure the community will continue to pump out exciting maps

Valve will likely to follow TF2's style where new boss monsters/ weapons/ maps are constantly updating L4D!!

Omg i cant wait!

oh btw nice vid ahbenchai....good promo for ZPS and ZM!
Hell Fire
This game has been around for very long time...i thought?

nah i know about the AI -- it looks at your health etc, sees how you're performing as a team and modifies the number of zombies. i'm wondering if theres more then just spawning zombies -- perhaps the situation changes (??), new routes available, etc..

will have to try out the demo which i heard is coming out pretty soon.

itching to try out a new valve game though and l4d should fit the bill pretty good, they've never disappointed.

for some of u that miss my last anouncement --> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/792422

The PS3 does have KB + Mouse combo. Unreal Torn. for the PS3 allowed you to use a mouse + keyboard. Its only because the developers are LAZY, well too lazy to learn the architecture of the PS3 in my opinion.

Anyway, I'll be sticking with the PC release.

SpikeTwo
because the root of valve or TR is based on PC, as long as they make good games for PC, i am fine. laugh.gif and i will always support them.

they are not lazy, they made a smart choice. learning ps3 would screw the release date. plus, who would put "lazy" as reason not to earn extra bucks from other platforms?

i would say good thing they ignored ps3. bravo. xbox is almost the same as a PC, so basically we wont see crappy multi platform game.

please support valve for their great games for the PC by buying the original. laugh.gif

If infinity ward can bring out a multi-platform game on all systems (Call of duty 4, PC, Xbox, PS3) without any noticeable difference, I don't see why valve couldn't do the job. They have talented programmers. If you've read gabe's previous reviews, he just has a serious dislike against Sony/PS3 -- as he was a previous MS junkie I see the correlation.

Bioshock would have made it a simultaneous release as well if it wasn't for MS buying the rights for the game. As we'll see, its coming out for the PS3 next month -- early reviews have already put it at 93%. So building a cross-compatible platform IS possible if you give it a try.

Valve is lazy because they've outsource all their PS3 ports to EA. EA are crappy developers -- look at the orange box for the PS3 -- its a piece of sh*t that after I got playing with it I sold it off. Team fortress 2 for the PS3 is bug ridden and gabe said it himself in the interview to 1up that they are not supporting it anymore.
SpikeTwo
ai...common, this is PC hideout. and my point is not really shooting the consoles. the point is as long as it comes out good for PC, we dont give a damn on other platforms. like we PC gamers care. laugh.gif

since u are getting the PC version anyways, why so fedup bout PS3 crap? just relax and wait for the darn game! and please buy the original! smile.gif

personally, I am happy valve ditched ps3. muahahaha... tongue.gif

oh yeah, it would be freakin cool to be able to have a map like small town infested with zombies like in the movies! hehe...cant wait.

I dont think they will price it so low...TF2 took how long to drop to that price. L4D is also a more full fledged stand alone game.
OmniAtlas
amazon has it on sale for ~ $35

is the steam version usually the same price?
