because the root of valve or TR is based on PC, as long as they make good games for PC, i am fine.

and i will always support them.
they are not lazy, they made a smart choice. learning ps3 would screw the release date. plus, who would put "lazy" as reason not to earn extra bucks from other platforms?
i would say good thing they ignored ps3. bravo. xbox is almost the same as a PC, so basically we wont see crappy multi platform game.
please support valve for their great games for the PC by buying the original.

If infinity ward can bring out a multi-platform game on all systems (Call of duty 4, PC, Xbox, PS3) without any noticeable difference, I don't see why valve couldn't do the job. They have talented programmers. If you've read gabe's previous reviews, he just has a serious dislike against Sony/PS3 -- as he was a previous MS junkie I see the correlation.
Bioshock would have made it a simultaneous release as well if it wasn't for MS buying the rights for the game. As we'll see, its coming out for the PS3 next month -- early reviews have already put it at 93%. So building a cross-compatible platform IS possible if you give it a try.
Valve is lazy because they've outsource all their PS3 ports to EA. EA are crappy developers -- look at the orange box for the PS3 -- its a piece of sh*t that after I got playing with it I sold it off. Team fortress 2 for the PS3 is bug ridden and gabe said it himself in the interview to 1up that they are not supporting it anymore.
