my dad used to be a smoker then he went to my uncle's place back in his hometown.. my uncle had just ordered a big box of tea leaves from all over the place and made my dad drink every single one of them.. somehow.. right after drinking them, my dad felt disgusted by the taste of ciggaretes and stopped.. same thing happened to another relative who drank the tea.. any idea which component of the tea was responsible?

Funny this is, people still believe that eating chewing gum, drinking tea, eating rocky can actually quit smoking.
You want to quit, you quit, that's it.

rite now, im doing an assignment about smoking cessation n reviewing a few journals n articles bout that...
well, basically to obtain abstinence, the best way is by using nicotine replacement therapy...
but there are other cheaper choices, however not really effective...

haha.. nope.. it wasnt like lipton or boh tea.. there were so many kinds.. my uncle say impossible to know which tea it was.. so just trying my luck to find someone else with similiar experience.. nicotine patches take time and ive heard of herbal stuff to make u stop.. but.. its more towards making money so they make it reli mild n it could take years..
P.S. i do not smoke and im not finding ways to stop smoking! just tht particular tea

it's about fact and mentality ... smoking does not result in decapitation ...
