which antivirus and internet security so far the best in 2008,in term of pc slowdown,(virus ,spyware, adware) detection?

I've managed to install KIS 7,Eset Smart Security,AVG 8 but they were unable to protect my sys. from many adware and spyware..i've test them with latest update and full sys scan..

Bit defender is known for its high sys resource usage..

Eventually, now i'm using superantispyware and KIS 8 to protect my PC..
i'm quite impressed with superantispyware now..

can u suggest which is the best internet security for todays?

Looking at what you have tested, i must add that having the best antivirus software won't stop malware from getting into your computer if you practice habits such as surfing porn, warez, cracks. Keeping your softwares such as Adobe Reader, Apple media player updated with latest security patch is also essential to prevent backdoor attacks or privilege escalation for virus execution. Having pirated software installed is already a security concern as most users don't update to the latest patch either because they can't or won't.

Matrix
One solution, use Virtual Machine to surf web. After each session, just reset your VM to virgin state...all virus dies...ha-ha.

But of course, if you use pirated software and run keygens (i'll say it's over 90% virus), sure kena lah.

That is the main cause. But not all people who did that get virus.
One can also get virus from removable dive.
