I think many of us have seen in Toy's R Us and Parkson. Well let me give a brief description of what NERF Dart Guns is all about.

Its pretty much LEGAL is Malaysia, sadly a substitute for Airsoft, in a way.
It shoots dart up to 30 feet without modification. (NOTE: Modding the guns can cause injuries).
The darts are made out of foam, doesnt hurt but you never know.
It can be a fun sport, well not as realistic as Airsoft but a feel of it.
It is not that expensive, ranging from RM50 - RM130.

Ah, finally... A thread for NERF Blasters... So glad that it's finally here in M'sia!

This gun is that each time fire also need to pull? No auto fire?

Some is rapid fire which is either gas powered or battery powered.

Normal ones are spring action

I saw at Toy r US KLCC got sell tis , but cant find the big blaster , that the coolest here , but dont think got rapid fire rite? and wonder will cost how much?

the big blaster is called the long shot!.

i know in TRU US there is one blaster that can fire rapidly.

some can multi fire, means fire all 20 darts at once.

Oh there is the NERF Vulcan which is the gatling gun.!

This is the Refill Packs I bought last night... Sadly, I found out that the Micro Darts and Tag Darts cannot be used with the Recon CS-6...

modding means removing the air restrictors..u can see them in youtube.

Oh cool... NERF thread... The guns looked really cool, it's nice to hear they've finally landed here (I first heard of them sometime ago thru a Duke Nukem modification... wondering what on earth a NERF was) Especially fond of the Maverick as that was what Megatron from Transformers Classic was based on...

SO which series got rapid fire and powerful?
How about the long shot, the blur color like sniper gun.

rapid frie ones are like the Magstike(Ironman blaster) fire 10 darts rapidly. but first u ahve to pump at least 20 times. its air action.

the long shot is the sniper. single shot. single reload. 6 bullets magazine.

these blasters are mainly made for kids. therefore they have air restrictors, to make them powerful..self mod. and remove the air restrictors.

Warning: Do no mod the darts. They can coz injuries if do so

how much is the darts pack supposed to be? the guns are not expensive I am afraid the refill pack kills hehehee...

each dart cost around rm1

the dart pack is priced at RM29.90

30 darts is alot. relaoding will kill you not the price. lol

there is some custom made darts on ebay which cost even cheaper.but must mod gun to use them.

Longshot sniping outside my toilet window. Noone will see it coming. Hehehehe.

Both also not automatic, though i REALLY REALLY love how you reload the longshot. bolt action like real sniper.

Also, I didnt see anyone post the pic of the Nerf Vulcan. So here it is. Damn syok wei.....

- 25 chain fed bullets - check!
- 6 D batteries - check!
- Tripod - check!

But one thing though... this thing gonna be a killer to reload. hahahaha!

range? hmmm under 15m or so and it can still hurt ah..... above that.. can stil be accurate, tapi kena aim properly.

summore, have to jaga the streamline dart more carefully, cuz can be bent and scraped easier then the normal micro darts.

ALTHOUGH.... the front part SUPPOSE to be able to work as a seperate gun... but i can't get it to work. oh well...

wating for the extra streamlines to come in!

hmm i hope more ppl will get hook onto NERF and we might just be able to organize a NERF war!

hurmmm been eyeing this latest trend,,,kinda a awesome given the physical appearance and the shooting feels....a repaint of its "high" colour would be nicer

Nef war sounds kool. have to stock up on streamline bullets and extra clips first. ahahhaa. Also... hopefully its during my holidays when im back in kl. ahahahha

i think repainting the Nerf Blaster would make it look nicer but it would result to law enforcement...hopfully not.

I think the reason why Nerf Blaster is able to be taken out and play in the open sunny day is the colours.

But wateva said....painting it into camo or some cool kick ass colours still is awesome!

NERF Blasters cost from RM59.90 to RM300++, depending on model...

It doesn't use bullets, its ammo is a type of "soft darts"...

finally got my hand on a Recon CS-6 with bonus scope from parkson...

Hey i was wondering how painful the darts are ? Like for example, the long shot... if shot at someone 10 metres away... will it be painful ?

Curious eh... wana get one myself. hahaha. The pain and range factor is kinda important.

Well NERF blasters are made for children unlike airsoft, there isnt much pain factor in them. There is some range but not sniping range like airsoft.

There is no FPS in Nerf as well.

But the main point is, its just a legal tagging game thats able to replace airsoft in Malaysia since its banned.

Oh man, just want to grap it after I saw those video clip in youtube there.... But is it work with battery or ??? something else? Those video show it shotting quite fast...
