Games Monster with endorsement and supported by Play Interactive Software Sdn Bhd - Malaysia's Konami Official Distributor will organize the Merdeka Winning Eleven 2008 Tournament on 16 August 2008. Details of the tournament as follows:-
Vanue: 3rd Floor, Amcorp Mall (near McDonalds)
Time: Registration start at 10 am - 11 am, Tournament start at 11.30 am till end
Game: Winning Eleven 2008
Platform: PlayStation 3
Max participants: 128 participants (each participants can register max 2 slot)
Registration: RM 40 per person per entry (participants will get limited edition Winning Eleven 2008 T-Shirt (free size) + poster + gamer tag).

Due to request, we will accept walk in registration, however all registration is based on first come first serve basis. The organizer shall not be responsible if you fail to register on the event day.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
1. 1 vs 1
2. ROUND 1 = 128 participants will be divided into 32 groups of 4 people. Best top 2 of each group (total of 64 participants) will be qualified to the ROUND 2
3. ROUND 2 = 64 participants will be divided into 16 groups of 4 people. Best top 2 of each group (total of 32 participants) will be qualified to the ROUND 3
4. ROUND 3 = 32 participants will be divided into 8 groups of 4 people. Best top 2 of each group (total of 16 participants) will be qualified to the BEST 16 ROUND
5. BEST 16 ROUND = 16 participants will battle in knock out format and winners will qualified to the QUARTER FINAL
6. QUARTER FINAL ROUND = 8 participants will battle in knock out format and winners will qualified to battle with top 4 winners during ICCG 08 WE tournament.
7. TOP 4 MERDEKA vs TOP 4 ICCG ROUND = 8 participants (top 4 from ICCG tournament & top 4 from this tournament) will battle in knock out format, best 2 out of 3 matches and winners will qualified to SEMI FINAL
8. SEMI FINAL ROUND = 4 participants will battle in knock out format, best 2 out of 3 matches and winners will qualified to the FINAL ROUND and loser will battle for 3RD & 4TH places.
9. 3RD & 4th PLACES = 2 participants will battle for 3rd & 4th places
9. FINAL ROUND = 2 participants will battle for champion and 2nd places
