maybe it's just me,but it was FREAKIN HARD!

Hmm... based on the video, the developers are Eutechnyx/System.3. If I can remember, Euthechnyx is the one who produces SRS (Street Racing Syndicate) for the PS2. So, yeah indeed it is their first time producing a Ferrari game. Based on the video also, the car's handling looks slightly arcadish, but who am I to judge just based on that. I believe, the handling physics are far better.

The F1 Ferrari F2007/2008 also also?

The game does look fairly well, not GT5 quality yet but still it does look better than Forza 2.

erm..lets just say..SRS...i played for 10mins and switched off my PS2 at that time

I dont know what happend to Codemasters..I mean, DIrt was totally awesome, but GRID? Alamak I am glad I didnt buy that..IF...IF..i can finde a rm50 copy I can consider,but 3 digits price tag is too much for this game.


Need the demo. Real weather effect rocks. Something PD boys should consider.

Yeah, SRS sucked... during that time, NFS Underground was a huge hit and i guess SRS was trying to compete with the NFS series.

For this FC, the developers are saying they try to compete with the likes of Forza and GT.

I still have high hopes for this game... and i hate to be disappointed.

As long as the car handles realistically... i'm fine with it.

me too man. I read somewhere the neighbour got some PC GT sim maker developing exclusively for them.

I only get to spend a good 1 hour with it... and i have to say, i'm impressed.

Graphics - Track details are much better than F1CE, not as sharp as GT5 and the cars are very good, just dont expect GT5 la. Quite good nonetheless. Rain effects are not bad... although i feel it could have been better.


Sound - Well, the engine sounds are music to my ears.. soundtrack is not bad though.


Gameplay - Physics wise... i think this game is for racing simulation fans only, the car behaves exactly how you expect it to behave. Just not quite physics obsessed as GT5P ... but to get a feel on how FC cars handle, play GT4.

AI is really really really really impressive in my opinion.... early stages, yeah, they are slow but you can really see the potential of the AI in the later stages... they are really aggressive, dont expect to overtake them easily, just when you thought you want to outbrake them in to a hairpin, they'll cover the inside line and always catch you by suprise... and they learn your favourite overtaking spots... like in a straight,, they wont stay on one side of the road... they'll be in the middle leaving you just enough room, a little mistake, you might just end up in grass..

GREAT AI.. Best AI in my opinion.


Hmm, what else did i miss ? I think this game is for racing sim fans.... if you prefer GRID than GT5, then you should avoid this, but if you hate GRID... this is for you and if you are a Ferrari fan, GET IT !!

With System 3 promising future DLC like Nurburgring etc etc tracks... what the hell are you waiting for ?? Haha

Nice review man, i definitely getting this....
But u're wrong by saying that GRID hater will loves this game, because i love GRID as an arcade racer title and i'll love Ferrari Challenge as a simulation racer. Before this the 355 Challenge was one of the hardest simulator racer around and i'm lovin' it...
