As for the online... as mentioned earlier, i only had a chance to play a 1 good solid hour before i left home to have some drinking session last night.

Only managed a "Challenge" race at Monza.



No chance to play online yet... then again, i'm not sure if online works as of now... my damn router is problematic when it comes to online play. got a belkin, but it was faulty on the first day.. sent for warranty, still not back yet..


But as i said.. i think GT fans will appreciate this game... and it is THE sim to play while waiting for the full GT5 to come out...

No regret for me... was a bit nervous when i popped in the disc... but now, i'm happy with the purchase.

LOL... wait, am i the only person here who got it first ??

OK got the game already yesterday, tested last night ~ 2hrs non-stop playing, finish the beginner & intermediate in Arcade mode, havent tried the Challenge mode.

Its simulation in console, great handling, better than GRID. Unbelievable AI, the best so far.

Able to join the online multiplayer, but connection lost when the host want to start the game, could be region lock, not so sure.

Those racing fan, this Ferrari Challenge is a must buy.....hehehe

Nothing much really... just some vinyls but lots and lots and lots of layers on it (i initially thought 7 levels per side but then, i realised now i got around 9 layers per side)... and the performance customization is kinda limited too...

It's a great sim nonetheless..

I think all cars upgraded to racing spec already, no need to do the modification.....hehehe

In Challenge Mode, u can tweak/setup the car, change the ride height, damper, spring, antiroll bar, toe & etc to suit your driving style & to be fast.

The AI is very good, not that easy to overtake AI (Expert & Legend Mode), it will shutoff the racing line.

Heard that new patch (coming soon) will improve the AI where they can be very aggresive if u r trying to be aggresive.

This games is a must buy

I second that. I'm used to using the 6-speed shifter on G25. Not easy to steer with one hand... prefer GT5P FFB's strength. Also, the FFB unit gets hot after a few laps. I got scared it might overheat, so I alternate between the G25 and controller.

Just to get some feedback. When the ABS kicks in during hard braking, does your steering jutters like crazy? Not that i mind, but because the FFB is so great, it is rocking my console everytime i brake.

I just bought this game yesterday at Sungei Wang...again...because i can get it cheaper than Bernard's.


I only had tried it for an hour yesterday, yeah simulation all the way baby, this means that if you expert in this game, you ready to drive the real thing no joke.

The tutorial were instructed by Tiff Needell (The Fifth Gear) (only his voice) which was cool.

The control is just like i expected, SIMULATION, i.e: Have to brake VERY early, car easily over steer (if TC off)....

AI is amazing, u can feel that they mad at you if you overtake them aggressively...

Graphic, displayed in 1080p, very detailed car model (on par with GT5), raining effect very realistic (you can see water drips on your Ferrari), environment not so realistic (quite colorful, but it's ok), the complains i hv is the frame rate is not smooth (my guess, only 30fps rather than 60fps for GT5) and the loading is very long, why theres no installing option???

The sound is very realistic Ferrari engine sound and support 7.1 systems. The music is fantastic, orchestra, jazz, hiphop, rock....preaty much for every one.

Gameplay option, not explored yet, too little time and money only tested the arcade...also got card play where you can match by car specs.

Online, tested once, played with a noob which the one who hosted the race, after 2 laps i'm in front then he left the race..... seems no lag , same like GRID

From my first impression, i think i'll give this game 8/10 (same rating as GRID) Highly Recommended.

After main trophy berturut-turut, the G25's FFB sudah overheated. Steering still responding but the FFB was gone. Switched off, rest for a few hours, FFB is now working. I hope it is a fail-safe mechanism. Anyone had this problem too?
