Nice vid..unfortunately sound more like fuel/reload album. Sadly nowhere near their older stuff.Guess as they grow older their style tend towards country style.

i wonder how they steal those amps. they must have been really muscular and strong, to carry it and run so fast
siemens
Sep 4 2008, 12:30 AM
amps are not verry heavy oso just 2 men is enough
sean392
Sep 4 2008, 12:41 AM
You obviously have not carried 100W amps.
siemens
Sep 4 2008, 12:47 AM
at most its 20kg rite?? so 2 men can easily do it

Sep 4 2008, 01:15 AM
Carry in broad day light, sure it's easy. Stealing something that weighs so much and not knocking over things in midst of the panic, not everyone will have the same steady hands (unless that person has been stealing all their life).
It's worse when it comes to stack amps. 20 kg probably for light combo amps. For stacks you'd probably have a 15-25 kg head and a massive cabinet. So yeah, stealing amps not really a 2 men job unless they had all the time in the world.

i tink its not easy la bro. sumore the studio is at 3rd floor, the whole stair case damn dark. and they did it like so fast and again, 20kg guni beras can la, one man show. 20kg amp, cannot la wei, the diameter is different

Wow......... Have you heard Trivium's new single over at their MySpace?
That intro riff ALONE sounds more Metallica then Metallica!
Actually, i'm quite impressed from what I've heard of Shogun. I think Trivium's album will be heaps better than Metallica's.
blacktrix
Sep 4 2008, 01:25 PM
To me, Crusade was a better Metallica album then Load, Reload or the god-awful St. Anger.
Trivium is definitely the new Metallica in terms of mainstream trash metal (what an oxymoron right there).
Shogun sounds like it's on the right track with the recently released tracks, and I'm glad Matt Heafy is going back to the growling like on Ascendancy, while still retaining the melodic singing of Crusade (which I thought was TOO overdone).
And their new Dean Guitars looks and sound totally badass.

Another thing I want to ask...... What kind of Music do you listen to when you want to take a break from Metal? I mean, you can't listen Metal 24/7..... you'll get jaded pretty fast.
Right now, after heavy doses of the new Metallica album and all that Trivium, I'm listening to "The Best of Dolly Parton". No joke.
Oh, and I was in Bentley a few days ago. Nothing really sparked my interest.

jazz and movie soundtracks.
and lately for me alot of hip hop.

To me, the problem with hip-hop, is most of the time, it gets me riled up, like what metal does. Even some of the new pop songs also fast beats and can't "mellow out" too. I dunno. that's me.
That's why Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sarah McLachlan..... stuff like that works for me.
BTW...... has anyone came up with good remixes with the Lamb Of God Sacrament producer's edition? Been meaning to try out some solo lines over their stuff.

Hey guys, it's a little off the metal topic but
I'd like to ask which airliner would be the best if I intend to hand carry my guitar w/ hardcase?
I'm considering SIA since it's quite a lot cheaper than MAS. Destination would be Melbourne, Australia.
Thanks.

I realize that 1 night of clubbing means I can buy a Boss pedal, as I usually pay for the drinks.
In ministry of sound, I can probably afford a low end Ibanez already.
