tat amp is used by my teacher in the studio. it's quite good sounding, and with the legendary mt-2 it can get bone-crushing tone. haha/

Ok, I got a question.
When bands like Lamb of God or Slikpknot goes on an international tour, how much of their equipment to they exactly bring and usually, what are the stuff do they rent usually?

I know like guitars they will take with them, but things like their drum kits or their huge stacks of amplifiers and cabinets, do they bring them as well?

lamb of god dont bring their amps along. theyre rented. hey i thought u should know since you've watched 'walk with me in hell' dvd. theyre each only using one half stack cabs each. the rest are dummies. drumset is their own (and sometimes parts goes missing when they arrive in airports).

i tink that happens to most band as well, they usually dont carry those amps around. but drums, never hear one rent before

Yeah, the whole Italy issue with Lamb of God using crappy rentals. But if you watch the Download festival, he still has his backline of Mesas.

But now come to think of it, I saw Herman Li using a JCM800 stack in Singapore, when he usually never uses that. Probably all rentals too....... only his Rack effects was his own.

though spider isnt really my type, but its quite unique for guitarist who wants to find some special sound, not just heavy bassy rythm. like i always said, those who like digital sounding would love to have spider amps

Well, of course state side, bands have the trucks and carries to transport their gear. It's the international tours/festivals that is the killer ones.
