Sorry for my lack of update/presence since mid November 2008, due to my busy life...taking care of my new born baby boy (18/11/08) and my wife which are unfortunately found to had Meningioma "brain tumour". She is schedule for an operation/surgery to remove the tumour in this coming January, 15th 2009. She just 41 years old and hope everyone out there to pray for her....thank you.

I'm a little bit bored...this 2 days....instead of do nothing i thought why not doing something that i really enjoy!, writing a css style.

After a lot hard worked being done <grin> (not really ), finally i'm finished writing an alternative skins for our *Beloved* Lowyat's...forum .

Hehehehe...all ads got rid off < same if you use add block extension, Proxomitron etc you wont see any ads>....well no offend to admin guys.

NB: almost forgot...this style are optimised for Firefox 3 (css improvement support) but still you can use it with Firefox 2 too...

Thank you for all your respond...really appreciated . About the request made here, i dunno if i can do it...ya knowlah really time consuming unless if i got bore again...LoL!!!

To answer some of your questions...

1- All my others styles are based on Dark/Carbon/Grey colour (see below link)...but for LYN i've to chose Dark/Blue...dunno why maybe its look pleasing to my eyes
2- Using this style you wont see any ads including the LYN logo accept Google Search...Imo the LYN logo taking a lot spaces on top and trust me i don't shrink the logo...LOL!!!. The reason i've came up with this style becos the current (original) skin looks really...never mind and secondly at least we have another skin as an alternative to chose...right ?
3- All colour chosen mostly inspired from Mac OSX got to used with thos colour...the blue isn't dull but it has gradient affect.
4- Neowin...?
5- TinyPic...i never know if their banned us...seems it is not, at least for me ?
6- To be honest with you its wont slow down your pc nor your browsing experience, LYN load even faster...
7- I can create other colour scheme but its pain to maintain the style...for time being i prefer to maintain this style (colour) only...

if you see at the picture..the menu navigator text plus the text at the buttons are in grey..you should put a lighter colour and it would make it easier to read..good effort anyway..waiting for your other release..

I'm sorry mate..i can't reproduce the issues you mentioned. Tested with FF2 and FF3, both work just fine (see ss attached below). Most probably your others css style codes overriding the Lowyat Forum - Dark Blue Redesign style or sometimes the FF theme also can interfere/affected the stylish codes...
