Hi.. I am a regular user here.. I normally buy and sell things here.. Rarely in lelong.com.my or ebay.com.my.
But last Monday on 30th June, i had to find another phone for my brother since i make his phone broken edi.
Like Malay people say 'sudah jatuh ditimpa tangga'.. that day is a very unlucky day for me..

The story is like this, i email the seller once and he did not reply.. Looking at his rating which is 100%,
i thought it is ok for me to bid his item.. SO i bid the phone : NOKIA 7610.. for RM180.00 plus postage is RM190.00
(Note that negative feedback only given after he close the what so called hacked ebay account).. can hack ar ebay account?

But then he add another Nokia 7610 which cost RM150.00 and this one got extra scratches compared to the one that i bid..
So, i sms him and ask is it ok if i won the bid, i want to purchase the cheaper one.. he said ok..
And i also did ask for se w960i (he said the price is RM2200).. luckily i didnt purchase with him..
He also create a blog to contact him, and to describe him as a freelancer in langkawi..
(today when i checked, ebay id turned to be a chinese name with contact number, and the blog gone edi)
buying phone in a bulk and he handpicked the good one to refurbished.. aiyo.. what a cheap man la he is..

When i won, an invoice came to me..

I emailed him, later wanna call him.. wait for 10 days before reports to ebay dispute centre.
I might lodge a police reports as well (maybe not.. cannot gather people as he make the account private)..
THought will wait till next week, but his stupidity which only success to con few people only
and try to erase all the proof make me 100% sure he is a conman..

But if this person happen to have id here, i hope admin can track and be extra carefull with him..

And to the bantap (dunwan to say his name.. buat malu orang melayu aja), if you read this, i pity u..
if want that money for petrol, haha, just take (i will not ask back, but ill never accept your appology till your death and even hereafter. )
plus, if want to hack my ebay account pulak, ask for my permission.. hohoho.. extra careful ya guys..

I was attracted to the cheap price this seller offer but I patiently wait and monitor the auction. It's look suspicious for me so I went to another seller who selling only one or 2 phone. Luckily I did that, now I have one phone which new with half price.

The way he do is look similar to the previous case happen to me. When I did some research, I found out most of the buyer giving him the feedback will also have a feedback to a seller than CON me before (I lost RM270 last time being con at eBay).

Most obviously is he ended the item earlier than suppose to. This time also using Ambank credit card. The wording use also similar to the previous case.

if wanna buy things in ebay, be careful and you may check:

One lesson can be learnt here. In e-Bay and lelong.com.my, do not deal with sellers with less than 100 positive feedbacks (by buyer). Conmen are now targeting on laptop and handset buyers so just beware when e-shopping.

I don't agree with you. Did you know how hard to get 100 positive feedback... I use lelong for more 5 years.... still not reach 60..... If follow your style... even harder to get 100 feedback..... because buyer won't buy and how to get the feedback if no buyer.....

I got conned by this man and already made a police report. Do you all know that he change his id into my information and wrote me 2 feedbacks on ebay. I reported to Ebay about this and I will continue fighting with Ebay until I get back my money as Ebay should be responsible in checking all Sellars.

I am truly upset over this matter that I want get this man caught.

I am gathering all informations for my police friend who is helping me to get this guy after I reported that I am not the only who got conned.

Luckily new eBay rules doesn't allow seller to put negative feedback for buyer but in your feedback, the wording is not really appropriate. Fight with eBay on that, give eBay your proof about the police reports.

Report your dispute on eBay. Let eBay open their eyes and create a special rules for Malaysia, rules created for USA cannot applied here. At least all seller must provide proof of current address and mykad number before can sell anything.

Still can as long as you have the item number like this 190233xxxxxxx. Keep the mail sent by eBay when you won the item.

me too, my item also remove already, luckily system still have, still wait for 10 days, , hope can claim it

Save the pages to your PC while it still available. eBay only keep the page for awhile only.

Look like you just read first and last post, ignoring any post in between. You should notice I have mention that I kena con in 2nd post. 2 dispute open before with eBay, at end the dispute close with no actions. Wasting 100 days just like that (10 before open dispute, 90 days waiting for nothing).

It depends, if more people report to eBay, they will look this seriously. For my previous case only me open the dispute (I guess) so no action, why eBay bother to take time to handle such small things. That what I thinking.

For Shazrin case, eBay did sent me an email to ask for proof of payment to proceed with claim but I haven't pay yet (luckily actually).

So better to keep your cash deposit machine receipt, make a copy of it cause the paper is thermal paper that will fake over time (why does bank use such stupid paper anyway ).

Photocopy with darker setting or scan and use software to make it clearer. Might need to fax to eBay if they ask for it.
