Full Version: Would Virus be transfered?
Just checking, if in case my computer is infected, would inserting the flash card into my com will cause the virus to be transfered, then onto my camera? How bout transfering files to/from my china hp via bt?

absolutely..even from hp to hp by bluetooth..my gf send songs from hers to mine then flood my hp with unknown things..need format memory card after dat..

Yes, an autorun virus will infect ANY removable media you insert. However, I seriously doubt there is any virus will affect ANY digital camera. At most, it will never be activated. At worst, it may stop the digital camera from reading the card, but no permanent damage.
Handphones on the other hand, are a different kettle of fish altogether. Yes, there is a real risk of a virus working on your handphone, but again, it all depends on what OS are you using. I've yet to receive anything Malicious for Palm OS. Mind you, my bluetooth is pretty much on all the time.
And while I'm not familar with Windows Mobile, I don't think viruses for 9X/XP/Vista are compatable with Windows Mobile. Or else we could run COD on the HTC touch.
