well i need to install VB for my project on my comp, which is running on Windows XP SP2.. sad thing is i guess most malaysians, like me will be using pirated version and i cant do frequent updates for windows... while installing the software i get the error as below :

ERROR 1335. The cabinet file"_9191_RTL_x86_enu_vc7pkg_SDE.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package..

Tried google-ing it.. based on my understanding, it's windows service pack or somethz that nids to install Instmsiw.exe... this can only be downloaded from microsoft website which needs validation from you... hence, if u validate then it will probably probe that your windows is a pirated version and bla bla bla.. u hafta reformat the whole thing again..


SO.. any solutions to this ? thx in advance ya..
