hi everymaster,

may i know, is there any software that can limit the LAN users download and upload speed ?

for eg,

4 ppl sharing a line, then i want to limit everyone download and upload speed.

is that possible ?

Netlimiter is the ones I have heard people are using. Need to install in each computer though.

You can only really limit from the router. Depends on your network config in the first place. Something like Netlimiter is a bit too easily bypassed by savvy users.

See if your router supports QOS controls, or something simillar. Maybe you can flash it to DD-WRT or another firmware which does support rate limiting.

that Possible..but u need to install each PC la.. better use QoS function.. that better than use software

If router don't support QOS then make a PC as a router =3 But you'll need a PC with 2 network cards.
