Sometimes u can't blame ur equipment at all. Ur equipment is good but i wont be surprise if someone with a d40 or pns can shoot better than ur pics if that person knows how to utlize his/her cam. U seems like havent yet master ur cams/lens hence u cant bring it into its max potential. So hopefully u learn and know how to take good pics w/o these errors pointed by snowmei.

Its like some newbie driving a ferrari enzo versus a veteran race driver in a satria gti in sepang. I put my money on that satria driver, as high chances of that newbie will end up crashing or spun off the corner, unless that newbie has an unknown lewis hamilton genes inside. In conclusion, experience counts, so frm now onwards, study what went wrong n see how u improve rather than spent a fortune buying new gears/lens.

Its all up to u mate.

I admit I have no skill or at least can certainly doing better with current gears... I just want to have fun ma... And I believe my average pictures also good as a guildlines for the members here to know on how the pictures come out without skill... but with decent Lenses... Good or bad... Does gears really help? If help... How much help? Let them know la... It is why I dun bother to PP nor any cropping also... So members here can have clearer picture of it. Good or bad... See how many some of my AWB...

If you do not convince yourselve that your equiptment got limitation that always limiting your pictures, then how to justiy for new purchase? It same thing my friends asking me to convince thier wivies that they always need to upgrade this and that...

I want to upgrade my 40D... It is why I non-stop blaming it...

Another excuss to blame 40D for its slow 6.5 fps that fail to capture better moments;





As you can see... I still fail to get the right moment... Every frame change too much... If I could have 10 fps of 1D mark III, problem solved...

why did u insisted in getting a nikon D200 when u don't even have lens to shoot with when u first got it? U were holding the camera everywhere before u get a lens to shoot with ur D200.

Or u wanted to tell us u learn ur lesson that D200 doesn't solve ur problem and now sharing it with us that VOIP shouldn't be getting 1D?

Possible... As I found all camera in the world that I had tested tend to have large size of autofocusing sensor (it is never as small as the tiny box indication). And I agree it is possible for the camera to be confuss with something else as it offer clear cut for the autofocusing to lock on... I will check at home.

And it is one of the main reason why I needed the 1D series camera as my personal experince tell me only this camera can autofocus reliable with small area of interested subject. It is especially usefull for full body length potrait where the subject is relatively smaller compare to the screen. Even the 5D sensor seems big for me...

Yup... As some moderators and members pointed out that my skill sucks... So crop no crop also no different ma... All pictures so soft and OOF some more...

I did not say ur skill sucks, coz i still found ur pics were acceptable and good enough. Its just that u cant satisfy everyone but i believe u can do alot better esp with ur current gear which is superb.

Yesterday, I was walking around the Kota Kemuning, and I saw a pretty gal ridding bike, so my 40D blink blink to alert me and my reflexes just proceed to snap her pictures lo...

Later she realise there was a young and handsome photographer taking her pictures and looking at him...

She just smiled to the photographer... and proceed crossing the road. But there was a sleepy bus driver that driving towards her!

To make thing worst, she was not aware of the bus behind also... As she was attacted by the handsome photographer...

After taking 2 shots as I like the composition, I shouted as loud as I could of the danger... awaken the sleepy driver that did an emergency break and she managed to avoid the terrible incident about to happen... Thanks God...

We then entered the bus to argue with the driver...

Since nothing bad really happen... We let the matter go, came down and rest at the bus stop behind... She need some time to calm down after the terrible experince...

bunvirus jump between the bus n cheryl and stop the bus with one hand using his super powers.
then only cheryl go up the bus to scold the bus driver!!!

He did not... It is why manual focusing does not work... You need very fast autofocusing... like USM...

I am using ST-E2

It can do auto TTL, so I no need to think so much... Just focus on taking pictures rather than complicated exposures...

And it support high sync mode, which is important for daylight strobist as well... shutter speed easily exceed 1/1000....

It also help transmit those blink blink infra-red to help autofocusing... End result, autofocus cun cun and sharp sharp...


IMO, I think it is good to share one or 2 sets of flash guns while photographers use wireless trigger... Why?

How the hell are we going to place 4 to 5 softbox on the same scene? Let's say for the bikini shots in swimming pool neh... Can understand ar?

where is the junkie??? actually.. one day, i might invest in ST-E2.

IMO, ST-E2 is great... In easy conclusion, it make life easy... and result consistencely good... At least for skill-less me...
