well, im staying in vista komanwel, n as for the moment, my house is using TIME connection @ 384kbps..
im planning to upgrade the connection, but streamyx is not available in vista komanwel eventhough it is available to arena green apartment which is just next to vista komanwel. so what i have in mind is the new netlink wireless connection by TIME which will be available in service next month. anybody have quite a detail info regarding this connection? the info is still not available in their website, maybe a TIME agent could help me here? or any other suggestion?

p/s: there are 7 people sharing the connection in my house. already have the modem n router.

Why dun wan time leh? I want also dun have. I staying at vista komanwel A. There is no streamyx because the management have a contract with TIME. Since you are using Homenet which is wired, why wan switch to wireless leh?

im staying at vista c..i wanna upgrade to a faster connection..the current connection is too slow since 7 people using same connection. that's why i'm thinking of changing to netlink, since it's still under TIME but i dont have enough info about it.

I don't think netlink its the wireless. Netlink its the leased line service provided my time. I don't time provide wireless broadband. Maybe you can consider waiting for Netlynx. I called them and they say will be installed in Vista Komanwel in the future. 2Mbps for RM99.

Leased line will be dedicated and not shared. You'll get full bandwidth. It will costs you more than 50k per year. The Netlynx haven'e started yet and its not wireless. I'm waiting for that also.

Its something like that. Your other option is to go with JARING Wireless. At least its way faster then your HomeNet

Netlynx its a ADSL service speed starting 2Mbps to 10Mbps which is now available in our area which I'm waiting for this service. At the moment, Jaring WBB is not a bad idea also, just the SOMAport price..

do u know the requirements to use netlynx? since i already have modem and router, i can just use that rite? can't wait to change.. hopefully the speed will be much better coz i download things a lot.. haha

lol, im staying at Vista Block B, using U Mobile now, damn fustrated with it, keep on dc and cannot on it for long hours, keep on disconnect and when u try to connect it back it will say duno wad port used. damn annoying. got any other options ah?

I think the speed will be mucm more better since its 2Mbps. Ya, your current ADSL modem and router can be used because Netlynx is using ADSL technology. Just like other ISP like Streamyx, Jaring Wired, HomeNet...

I called them later today and spoke with the salesperson.
The new service will go live this month.
This is the Netlynx ADSL service and interested parties can go to the management office for subscription form.
12-months lock-in period.
The package does not come with any modem, so you'll have to get one yourself.

I'm also staying around there... Green Avenue... Any good wireless broadband there... Currently using izzi, is SUCK...
