For super-dog Bolt (voice of John Travolta), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue—at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet—a cross-country journey through the real world. Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and with the help of two unlikely traveling companions: a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens (voice of Susie Essman) and a TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball named Rhino, Bolt discovers he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero. Miley Cyrus ("Hannah Montana") brings her vocal talents to the role of Penny, Bolt's human co-star on the television series.

I just watched Bolt in 3D today at GSC 1 Utama!
Overall, it is a great story and movie. I would rate this better than previous Disney's flicks and is on par with Cars and The Incredibles. The 3D experience was a big bonus, better than the sucky Polar Express 3D I watched at iMax a few years ago.
If you want to catch Bolt in 3D, you have just a week at 3 of GSCs cinemas.

the hilarious part is when the chase scene involving bolt and evil rider where bolt planted the explosive onto the evil rider's helmet and when the rider try to take it out, he accidentally throw onto the chopper above him and explode. he then pat his helmet for his stupidity forgetting that his hand is electrify and in the end electrocuted himself.

the other one is when bolt make a sound wave as big as a tsunami and wipe out all the evil entourage trying to capture him.

Was wondering, for this 3D movie, if without glasses, the picture is multiple image (blur)?

Yup.
I realized this when the trailers started before the actual movie. I wasn't wearing the 3D glasses and was wondering why the images were blurry, till I realized I should put on the 3D glasses and watch all the trailers which were in 3D as well.
I paid RM16 per ticket at GSC 1 Utama.

I think disney animation studios is heading to the correct direction after meet the robinsons. Although meet the robinson doesnt look attractive, i watched it sometime ago and i surprised that i like it.
It has a meaning inside the movie which is something pixar has been doing all these while. So that why i quite anticipated with bolt and i glad to see some positive reviews here.
It will be time when they going to be on par with pixar. At least way better than fox or dreamworks on cg animation movies, and thank god chicken little is a past history.

Yes, Walt Disney was leading the animation industry (regardless of 2D/3D) until the early 1990s. Since then, only their Pixar's release were keeping them alive, but almost all other animated release from them was a disspointment.
In 2006, Walt Disney purchased Pixar and John Lasseter, the founding member of Pixar (started as Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Group) is now also a Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney. With Lasseter heading the creative department, we can expect Disney is making a comeback to the animated industry. Bolt, which he executive produced, is a promising sign to that direction.
John Lasseter also directed Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, and Cars.

Bolt's Sidekick Says You Are Fully Awesome!
If you’re here there’s a pretty good chance you’re a fan of movies, but are you a fan of yourself? You should be - after all, you are fully awesome! Don’t believe me? I’m not the only one who thinks so.
If you’ve seen Disney’s Bolt then you’re more than familiar with his hamster sidekick, Rhino. The hamster is featured in a viral website from Disney that allows you to make videos where Rhino tells you why you are fully awesome, or you can make videos to send to your friends to let them know how fully awesome they are as well.
Head over to You Are Fully Awesome.com to build your video. Thanks to Weekly Blend Audio Show co-host extraordinaire Margaret Williams for letting me know how fully awesome I am, so I could share it with you.

me too but Robinsons was great! very meaningful show.
just don't bother with the logic part.

shows with time-travel are almost always screwed in logic a bit, other than Back To The Future........ i think, which again is still a little bit screwed on II.

Haha spot on, i loved the ending which is soo touching n meaningful, which makes me feel disney animation on its revival after the all time low chicken little. Beats the hack on all dreamworks is offering
I once been told i have a former colleague loved chicken little so much she watched 5 times, in cinema.

It's a great movie I must say. No doubt they said Bolt brings up the true Disney. Rhino and the pigeons are entertaining all along and the journey they had searchin' for Bolt's person is a wonderful adventure. Truly Disney movie all along. Thumbs Up.

I must say this though. The agent character really sounds like Barney Stinson from the sticom How I Met Your Mother (played by Neil Patrick Harris). Always quoting 'True Story'. Nice one though. I bet the producer must have been watchin How I Met Your Mother a lot.
