Hi all sifus,

Would like to have you all to help recommend "very big file size file editor" for me...
FYI, sometime need to edit(and save) very big file size (eg: size ranged 2GB to 20GB) and the file contents are rows of records (Don't ask me what type of records)..Is there any good, reliable and capable file editor for this?
Currently using CMD more, Editplus, notepad++, and crimson for editing but once the file size over 500MB has problem opening it...

Please share your valuable opinion & suggestions....Many thanks in advance...

have you try ultraedit before?

according to them, it can supports files in excess of 4GB

hi fariz..thank for the prompt reply...the ultraedit can open file with 2GB..(with abit lag) and it use up a lot resources...anyway, thanks for the nice recommendation...

i also need that...i suppose there are editors where it actually didnt load everything but instead load the data that we see on the screen only...got such editor?
