Im kinda got mess up and confused. Is it safe to connect a external amp to my edifier s530d??will it damge my set? i need some help here...thanks.
Cuz inside the manual it say something like "Please do not feed powered signal from another amp into the input ports of this systems!" and if i add on a amp will it enhance the spund quality..i got a old amp with me thou

i believe the amplified signal will be potentially dangerous to the speakers.

worse case : it will spoil the pre-amp circuit on the speakers or it will spoil the speakers inside.

if not : it will just cause distorted sound because the signal is too high already.

what makes u think adding an amp will enhance the sound quality?

Hm, thanks for the advise. Well, i was wanting to try out having some fun here and there. Not too good with sounds...so wanna know more. because my Auzen explosion cinema sound card dont seems "work well" with S530D. Some say wait till its completely "burn in" the speaker will sound great..beats me...
