Dear 1mbps streamyx user,


I currently upgraded my 512kbps to 1mbps .. but i'm still not sure my connection has change. I see there is no different after i changed to 1 mpbs

the streamyx staff asked me to test the speedometer.. i don't know if my result are refer to 512 or 1mbps.. can anyone pls test their 1mbps result and

put on this thread so i can compare with my current speed now?? pls! really need your help!

i have the same problem. I have upgraded for more than 1 year already but the line still unlikely to be 1mbps. I've made many complains b4 and they asked me to do same thing like you. However, those doesn't help at all and the line now is still running at 512 >.<
About speedometer, I've tried many many times these couple days and it stucks at "directing to results page" so i can't tell you how actually is the speed.

if ur get speed of download is around 7++MB.. that normal speed that Tmnet for user

is this result of 1mbps????

Test using TM Speedometer. Don't testing using that. Use tm speedometer , if you're getitng around 200-300 then you're still on the 512kbps package. if you're getting around 700-900kbps that means you're on the 1mbps package

so this result is 1mbps? if it is, i don't see there is any different between 512 and 1mbps...

Yep 1MBit/sec. In fact, you got slightly over 1Mbit for the download..1284kbps.

If 512kbps, your download will not exceed 64kbytes/sec (512Mbits=64kbytes), So 1Mbit should be 128Kbytes...but you got 160kbytes....

So got extra liao, jangan complain...nanti TMnuts reduce your speed....ha-ha...

u applying for 1mbps line,1mbps line come with 1mbps download and 384kb upload

if the server on USA which is paying a cheap host...each line allow 30kb/s and thats da exact speed u only can...macam u got a big pipe...but water pressure low.no matter how big...also no use

Mainly you don't see the difference when you're using 512Kbps/1Mbps (for surfing). You'll see the huge difference when you're torrenting , or using p2p applications and streaming online videos

Yours is capped under 1.5mbps/384kbps

I even seen my client paying RM 66 getting 2.0mbps/512kbps (tested on speedtest.net achieve 1.7mbps)

I've a question.

I subscribe to the RM44 package at 512kbps.

In my modem, i see the DL/UL rate as 1024/384kbps, however, my max download speed is only 512kbps as per my package ( i never get more than 64kb/s). What does it means? I remember last time it was shown on my modem as 512/384 something like that.

Is there anyway to make it go to full 1024??
