Hi, we have about 40 staffs in our office in Damansara Jaya area, and we're using 2/384 package

Email traffic is high.

How is the internet setups in other companies?
Have you implemented traffic shaping via your firewall? Blocked bandwidth intensive sites?

Thanks.

IMHO, 2/384 package to support 40 staffs is perhaps a tad too little... you might wanna consider upgrading the package or what suyee suggested - get an additional line and use a load-balancing router.

A couple of suggestions;
1. Since e-mail traffic is high, find out if most of them are work-related or are a good amount of them useless forwarded e-mails with attachments? You can setup limits to attachments size on your mail server to reduce load and traffic.

2. If your current company doesn't have a policy on Internet usage, it's a good time to draft one up. Sites like YouTube, DailyMotion and flash-based games sites eg Popcap are counter-productive and bandwidth intensive. Have a policy that works on behalf of everyone's benefits without restricting too much. That way, your staffs won't resent the policy. Suggestion like disallowing access to sites during office hours... other time are ok etc...
