wanna ask a question here. after i register streamyx combo let's say, how long will them take for me to be abel to surf net?" cz going to move into a new house and i cannot stand the day without the internet so wana know how many days i will have to suffer >.<

fast 1 week.slow 2-1 month.new house?have line?if not need wait them arange contractor go ur hse for wiring.then install phone.open port.n many more...

From my experience with my customer, less than a week for new registration...for transfer a little bit longer...

I have dealt with people in the forums. There are okay in real life. Trust me , thats how i managed to solve my streamyx issue

Back to your question, how long does it take you ask

Well , The whole process took 2 weeks (the registration thingy). Last Wednesday , TM came to my house to set-up the phone line. The next day , streamyx was activated. Had to call them manually. So it takes like <2 weeks or so. If you're lucky it might be within a week

I'm moving to a not-so-new housing estate somewhere in Sg Buloh (BRP) and Telekom has been holding my application for more than a month now. It took them two weeks to figure out that my address is not in their system, luckily my next door neighbour has his. A week later, was told that they don't have enough line going to the housing estate.. and it will take two weeks or more to rectify this. Early of the week, they told me that there is problem with my conduit, they could not shove the cable into my house from the outside. And guess what .. nobody .. I mean nobody touch the manhole that the wires should be terminated to before entering my house .. and when I ask around, they started asking me my address so that they could check.. and hmm.. why the report saying that I've broken conduit while they've no check anything just yet? LAZY BUM BUM!!! I was given run around by the technical people and at last they give me a contractor number which told me .. nama belum ada dalam komputer, macam mana mau pasang?? .. ARGGHH!!
