I have an original Wc3 and been playing it alone for almost 5 years alrd, ok now my brother just bought a new pc and we alrd set up wireless router so both of us can share the internet, but there is one question i wanna ask here is wether can i share my original WC3 with my brother, can we log in to the Battlenet using the same cd key? I remember last time Starcraft used to have spawn version that can support to sharing 8 computers with one cd key but now WC3 doesn't have that anymore, I am afraid that if i share it with my brother then my cdkey will be banned by battlenet..anyone try it before please let me know wether is it possible? thank you..

Warcraft 3 does not allowed spawn versions of the game...

U cannot log on to Battlenet at the same time using the same CD-key...because u'll get an error which says that the cd-key is already in use.

Sharing CD-keys won't get u banned AFAIK...but only one person may be on Battlenet with the CD-key

If i'm not wrong, you can login different Battlenet servers at the same time using only 1 CD-key such as you login Lordaeron and your brother login Kalimdor

But you cant login the same server together

Original War3 is called Reign of Chaos. The expansion is Frozen Throne. Burning Crusade is expansion for World of Warcraft

I think you need both RoC and FT to play DOTA but i not sure myself cause i havent try before

No idea about the price though but i think around RM100++ would be enough since its an old game

vanilla Warcraft 3 is Reign Of Chaos...u need that to install Frozen Throne since it is an expansion...after that...u need to patch Warcraft 3 TFT to version 1.6...

The estimate price if u buy the Battle Chest is about Rm 150

You can connect to different servers with the same CD key. E.G: One on US west, one on Asia. If you guys play on Garena, that will not be a problem




As nowadays, people use battlechest which means the War3 Reign Of Chaos (The first game) and Frozen Throne (the expansion). The price of the battlechest is around RM199. But if you are not playing in Battle.net and you just want to play dota on Garena, I think you rather get a pirated copy, because spending 200 bucks for 2 CD and no server plays much dota compare to garena is a total waste of money. And for Dota, most people uses patch 1.21 and Battle.net now uses 1.22. If your friends call you to play Garena one day, you gotta reinstall and that waste time.

Can, depending on which game you are playing. If TFT, get 2 different CD's and you are clear to play on the same server
