Better than Alex in term of what? For me they have the same skills with Fairuz's advantage is he is younger. Pounds for pounds, Alex did more than any Malaysian drivers can dream of acheiving, but sadly Malaysians are blinded by his nightmare outing in teh Minardi. They never talk about his great performance in the CART series, or how he fought and won a podium in a shitty car in the Le Mans series, or how he and his dad pushed Proton to let them have a system to blood young and upcoming local drivers so that they won't have to face the same hardship that they did when he was starting out. Or how he has to use all his prize money to fund these projects.
I hate when people says "Ooh this driver is better than Alex" or "Alex can't drive" when he showed that he is one of the best driver in the region and had done much without asking anything back from the country. If these people were all oh so "knowing", then they should back their statements with facts.
Ya, both driver got their skill. Alex's Minardi time were not really great but it open the road for Malaysian drivers to get into Formula 1.
Whatever it is, I support all Malaysian drivers!
Support my site! A site dedicateted to Malaysian race drivers!

In the wet some more.
I hope Fairuz drove till end of the season.
Aaron Lim is the 2nd driver.
Next race is in our own Boleh land
Make us proud.
I think Fairuz will be main driver for this season, as Alex will race in GP2 Asia for Team Meritus.
Alex also tested Speedcar at Dubai.
