not sure whether to open newtopic or shld put it in one of the pinned ones...so sorry ya if wrong.

rite now i wanna bench my q6600's temp
wat program best to use to load the CPU up?
a program which also has a temperature recording or graph or sumthing.

b4 this i used to watercool...than got sumprob... so finally decided to retire from WC (no time nowdays to do massive OC neway)...
so used back stock heatsink
Than ordered a thermalright IFX-14
so b4 installing it, wanna benc the stock cooling since neva done b4.

at least now can compare WC : Stock : High range Air

any tips and ideas also would be chun...
i head that the surface of IFX-14 is uneven....must check whether mine is also...

use prime95/orthos/OCCt
stress test for 30mins

use OCCT and Everest Ultimate to monitor the temps. OCCT can give you a graph

if you wanna self recor your values, id suggest Everest or Coretemp. they're pretty ok.

yes the IFX is uneven. just lap it
