Lowyat.NET > Special Interest > PDAs
hirota
hello

i would like to know what's the market price now for the ppc htc P3600i?

because i saw some selling for RM1700+ and some still selling at the price around Rm2700

kinda confusing now shocking.gif
SFOD-D
PDA Expert Low Yat selling at RM1799 - clearing stock i guess. P3600i is a very competent PDA ever built. Used to have one myself
kerazul
I think most places are selling > RM2K ady. Make way for diamond and raphael.
hirota
it's my dream ppc since D810 generation tongue.gif
hmmm... should i wait till next Pc fair?
Baronic
people sell around 1.7k because few people know the difference between d810 and HTC P3600i. I've used it before and i can tell u its one of the most reliable pdas around
nestleomega
those selling more than rm2k maybe comes with fulltime software support such as Mapking n Resco, so you dont have to install any...and the rm17++ may not preloaded with any software??

NOT really...just today, 9 june 2007, i went to a shop and ask for the price for htc p3600i n guess what...its selling for RM1699 only!!!damn, the price dropping fast...and when i asked the salesman whether the price includes any software loaded on the device, he showed me a book listing all software loaded on the htc...wow, thats a lot-thats what i feel...
Baronic
lol, those software are "cracked" softwarez anyway. U can google and find yourself if u work hard
hirota
wow RM1699 only!
but p3600i only have 64MB of ram. will it causing alot "lag"?
Seaedge
64mb is actually normal amount of RAM needed for normal usage. Especially now with customised firmware which exclude unnecessary programs and tweaked settings made it faster than original firmware.

afterall, P3600i is best bang for the buck if u need feature packed pda phone and cant cope with latest tech(and prices too)...

p3600i got my recommendation at anytime.. except u can fork out for touch diamond... wink.gif
dadarouch
my dad's using a p3600i.. and its fast.. biggrin.gif GPS works like a breeze.. get it dude.. u wont regret it biggrin.gif
SFOD-D
64MB of RAM with 500mHZ Prcs - good enough. Never had problem with mine. I bought it at RM2799! Highly dear price to pay those day
Heng
Hi anyone interest on HTC 3600i, i bought it 1 week only, fast sell because need money, it is good PDA!

Called up a few shops in Low Yat. They quote around RM1799, plus 2gb card and bluetooth headset.
mr-2
Go get it man. I am using one myself. No regret. Choose this over the TYTN II b'cos tested at the shop, the 3600i speed is obviously faster & smoother. Light and smaller too.
CosmicZone
I am looking for P3600i...
Will it be cheaper if I get it in PC fair?

Kelv
I got offered around Rm1k for a Singapore set, new unit, full set.
But without warranty...

That is cheap but without warranty, it will be quite risky

Ya... bit risky.
Any advice what to check and test before buying a no warranty unit?
And how to identify whether it's a new unit or not. hmm.gif
bakkutt3h
yes....pdas would advice to get a decent warranty, from original distributor is the best

I am very new to PPC world. Been using nokias for more than 10 years now and was planning to get the N82. Now I got transferred to a new department, felt that using PPC is more convenience. Many of LYN forumers suggest to get the hTC 3600i. Well, might be getting it next week. Here's hoping for the best. rclxms.gif

HTC3400i don't have wifi if not mistaken.
By the way, HTC p3600i can support up to 4gb SD card right?
lordmaul
Yup, it can. Just ask the hTC salesman just now at the pcfair. In fact they are giving away 4gb card with every purchase of 3600i plus 2 years warranty.

How about bigger capacity ? If can support, will try to negotiate for higher capacity by sacrificing blue tooth hand free. drool.gif

explain more plz........
lordmaul
Well, for the price of RM1799 at the PDA Expert booth, you'll get:

a. hTC 3600i (plus charger, etc...)
b. free bluetooth headset
c. 4gb micro SD card
d. screen protecter
e. 2 years warranty (instead of the usual 1 year)
f. 30% off any other hTC item (purchase with purchase, i think)

hurry if you are interested! Only one day left...

PS - PDA Expert should give me something for this promo la... hmm.gif
CosmicZone
hey, just wonder is there any promotion for this model in PC Fair???
hope to get one as well smile.gif
lordmaul
If you mean the hTC 3600i, then the promotion is as above. Sadly no price change. Only freebies... If you don't mind the freebies, I suggest you get it from candccom for a better price.

I have question bout memory card. Can we use a microsd card with adapter on my pda which support minisd card? Cause I found out miniSD card is getting lesser now.
Anywhere selling Sandisk or Toshiba MiniSDHC 4Gb?
